We stayed here for a family weekend getaway. It was fabulous. The staff were extremely helpful. The kids loved the pool, and the hotel was close to transport, restaurants and shopping. Great location and lovely hotel.

Very appropriate for a family to stay. We used the indoor pool. Pool wasn’t too cold so that was good. Reception Dee was patient and nice when she first assisted me. The security was very nice too but I don’t know his name. They also have inhouse breakfast buffet that my family also enjoyed Overall, I recommend this hotel to other families if you are planning on a trip to sydney as it is central and is minutes walk away from central station. Price wise it could’ve been abit better but overall, it’s still worth visiting

The overall experience was good. I was sent an email for an online check in and I did it but it didn't help much as when I arrived I had to do it again anyway. The room was right next to the elevators so it was very noisy from early in the morning. The room was tidy and clean but we had to move one of the beds towards the wall so our toddler wouldn't fall in and we could see that under the bed was dirty and they never normally vacuum the carpet in that area. The breakfast was tasty and varied but it was very busy and we had to wait a considerable time to get a table.

The property is dated. My family and I were greeted by drain flies everywhere in the room. They were on the “cleaned” towels (which were not clean anymore), mirror, bed, flying everywhere. The shower room has mould everywhere. Room Carpet is dirty like it was never vacuum for years. Corridor carpet has visible dirt, dust and desperately needing a makeover. We used a mug in the room to take a effervescent tablet but staff just wipe with cloth and put back on the tray as a new mug. We discovered it as there were leftover tablet undissolved in the mug. That makes me wonder if all the mugs are washed properly. Overall, I was not comfortable at all with my 4 days stay. Mercure’s name is tarnished.

Room was a good size for a family of 4, only thing I find hard was no storage, only 2 seats in the rooms but room is listed as a family, no where to hang towel when you get out of shower, friendly staff, bag storage on arrive super friendly, overall a nice stay

Stayed for Taylor Swift concert and enjoyed the convenience of Mercure’s location. With all the fellow Swifities it was busy but staff remained very friendly. The breakfast was surprisingly good! Highly recommend with children and for concerts.
