Orchids Saigon Hotel

Room was very good for the family, buffet breakfast was excellent, location was excellent. My daughter loved the pool area on the rooftop. And the Grab taxi can be pre booked from the airport to hotel for only 110000 dang my family loved that it was in the city around the shops

Great place for family to stay

A warm welcome on arrival with the doorman meeting our taxi and ensuring we weren't over-charged. It was a sign of the level of service throughout our stay. Booked a very spacious basic suite with views across the city for our family. The bedroom was maybe a little bland in decor (similar to what you'd expect in a corporate style hotel) but had plenty of room, a lovely bathroom with an extra wc and everything we needed. Despite the central location (you can walk to many of the sites in hcmc from here) it was very quiet in the room. It suited our family of 3 perfectly. There is a small openair pool with a few sun loungers on the 9th floor - it's not very big but looks a good spot to relax. Unfortunately, we found there was lots we wanted to see and do in our short time in hcmc so didn't have time to use it! Breakfast was fine, usual sort of buffet with an egg station cooking to order, nothing especially wow. We felt for the price the hotel was a good choice for a stay in hcmc and booked again for a night before our flight back to the UK at the end of our trip.
