Ocean Vista

Staying at Ocean Vista means you spend much of your time on a golf cart getting to Sealinks for breakfast and a better swimming pool. The pool at Ocean Vista was lukewarm, starting to rust and strictly monitored by staff chasing you for leaving with a towel wrapped around you. The room itself was okay. Big. 2 bed and 2 bath with a living area and kitchen. I wouldn’t stay here again, nor recommend it to family or friends.

Bad service, tight rules, no flexibility, lazy staff at pool area. Room was big, but there were dirty walls and noisy air conditioning. Swimming pool was big and nice for adults and children. Good food.

We had a nice stay at Ocean Vista. While on the outskirts of Mui Ne, the resort itself is fantastic and only a 5 minute cab ride into the heart of the Mui Ne tourist area. It is very well suited for families and big groups. The pools were great (the Ocean Vista pool is good, but make sure you ask reception for a golf cart to take you to the giant pool towards the north of the property!) and the beach facilities are also quite good. The golf course is a good quality course, but make sure you get out early if it's hot! The breakfast buffet is quite spectacular and there's probably something that would keep most people happy. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, especially the 2 & 3 bedroom suites. It was a little disappointing that our kitchen had NO cutlery or crockery whatsoever, other than a couple of glasses, but we didn't cook so it wasn't a big deal. Others in our group had a more complete kitchen, so I think it depends on the specific apartment (they are timeshare style, so up to individual owners I guess). Also, if you're on the backside of the building (golf course/garden view, just be careful when it rains - the balconies can flood a little!). Overall, I'd definitely classify it as quality western (not just Vietnamese!) 4* stay for a serviced apartment. PS - most in our group found paying up for beach views worth it!

It was excellent! Good location, kind personal, very good beach and clean, golf not expensive, fishing club was very interesting for children, in 10 min walking - Muine's restaurants... Fruits... Souvenirs... See foods... Shopping... 5usd by taxi and you in Late Mart - not bad supermarket. Swimming pools are clean and big. See link city, we like you! Thank you!

We stayed 10 days over Dec 2016. Stayed in modern ocean view 2 bed apartment with kitchen. Was ideal size for family. Pros: Nice pools, modern rooms. Breakfast variety. Cons: Poor service, not to international standards for this type of hotel (don't expect to be offered drinks at the pool, you need to walk to bar to get attention), staff need training in customer care and English. Need to cross road to access beach. Hotel in need of maintenance. Rather far from shopping and night life.

Stayed in Ocean Vista for 2 nights with my family. Booked a one-bedroom apartment. Checked-in was very slow (typical Vietnamese style). Like-wise for checked-out. Overall, the room was pretty huge (almost 80 sqm) for a one-bedroom size. Got a golf-course view, and the living room was very comfortable with very generous balcony. Kitchen is well-equipped, however you must ask the staff to unlock the cabinet to access the utensils. Breakfasts were generous too. Wifi speed up to expectations. Only minus point is the distance from hotel to nearby restaurants, shops along the street. You must call for a taxi though. Overall, worth the money spent. Will definitely consider to return stay on my next trip to Mui Ne.

Nice place to stay with family. Clean facilities and friendly service.

Power failure occured once but the hotel reacted quite fast upon notice. Friendly staff altho some ladies at the receptionist counter are not so. Family friendly, recommended for family travelling w children & elderly
