Best Western Maritime Inn

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel . My kids loved the swimming pool . Hot tub stop working but the water was still hot enough to relax . House cleaning is not included so we just got new towels and other things for the room . The staff is very friendly.

We stayed here this past long weekend for an ice fishing vacation. 2 adults/2 children. The room was clean with plenty of towels and we set dirty out in hall and were promptly given a fresh bag of towels, washclothes and hand towels. Checking in was very easy with Bobbie. She was super friendly and even let us stay in the lobby to watch the Superbowl and have our party when the breakfast area TV had no sound. We had 3 rooms of guests wanting to watch together. She was not put out at all that we had taken over the lobby. Room was clean, fridge was working, nice size tv. Bed linens were clean. Downside: the beds were loud between the springs and the metal frame they were sitting on made for a loud night of sleep. Pillows were nice. Breakfast was decent, scrambled eggs, sausage and ham, cereal choices, juice/coffee, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, pasteries, waffles, toast. Pool area was nice and clean as was hot tub. Water was good and hot. Checkout was a breeze. Only bad mark was Monday last day when we showered before checkout, we had no hot water all of a sudden. Made for a cold start to our day. Otherwise, no complaints. Had a great time! Hotel is close to fast food, Walmart, restaurants, and gas stations.

Staff were excellent, very helpful. As stated in some other reviews, our room was humid the entire five days we stayed there. Our littlest is 15 months and his feet were black on the bottoms every night after running around on the carpet. The sheets were clean though. Rooms were updated some. The stay wasn’t bad, although I’m not a super picky person, but I’m not sure we’d choose to stay there again. Outside of the building is rotting since it’s cheap pressed wood siding, and the grounds look like they hadn’t been trimmed or mowed all summer, weeds growing everywhere. Our older two kids liked the pool but every morning before it opened and the water was still, you could see a film on top of the water (Maybe that’s how indoor hotel pools are, unsure). The breakfast was good though, enough choice to give us a little something different every morning if we wanted.

Excellent property. Room was clean, great water pressure, nice indoor pool for the grandkids, and the breakfast was top notch.

We had two rooms for our family of 4. The first room had a dehumidifier running in it and smelled musty. My daughter turned over one of the pillows only to find a bug on the 2nd pillow. The other room had blood splatter on the wall next to the bed and rust spots under the sink's wall sconce light. The staff were excellent when we asked for a different room for the musty/bug room and gave us a cleaner room on the 2nd floor, but we had to unplug the refrigerator due to a loud compressor. The pool was also closed which was somewhat disappointing.

I booked 2 rooms for a family weekend. The rooms and hotel were clean and inviting. There were a couple of lights that needed replaced and a lobby garbage that was full. I would stay again if the need arises

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing my kids were a little disappointed that the TV in the room was quite small :-) But in general I greatly recommend this hotel as a family friendly stay.

We stayed as a family and currently breakfast is just apples, bananas, yogurt, granola bars, hard boiled eggs and Jimmy Dean sausage breakfast sandwiches. My kids really wanted cereal and pancakes/waffles.

The stayed was really good, we didn't have any problem. Room was clean and service was good. The kids enjoy the pool. We had a relaxing time.

We stayed at this Best Western for 2 nights (2 rooms). We got a room #115 which was right next to the pool. As soon as we walked in, the room smelled like cigarette and mold mixture. When I took my sandal off, I felt the carpet wet. I thought that maybe they had carpet cleaned hours before but it was the same next day. We immediately asked for a new room and the front desk told us that there is no way and that the hotel was booked for the 2 days. But when I checked online right away, atleast in two websites, there were still rooms available (same 2 queen beds). We stayed but the bed made my back hurt and the smell kept me waking up with headache every few hours. Not getting proper rest in the hotel, my family were not in good condition to enjoy the weekend in Door County as we normally would. I trusted the rating of 4 out of 5 on hotel.com but this was not acceptable. I would not stay at Best Western ever again and I would becareful not to trust the rating on your website. Someone should report that room to be evaluated for possible mold issues. Somehow the pool moisture is causing the floor to get moisture and the entire room smells moldy. It should not be allowed to be sold as hotel room.
