Check in was super quick and easy. Hotel itself seems to be updated and pretty nice, clean. Room was clean and spacious. The front desk offered dinner, which I wasn’t expecting. We didn’t take advantage of it, but it could be nice for other families and singles looking for a quick option.

While traveling from DC to KY to visit family we have stayed overnight at this hotel multiple times to help break up the drive/trip. There are no disappointments. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. We enjoy the pool time and the breakfast is a plus.

I made my reservation through Expedia for this hotel. It wasn’t until after driving 8 hours with two small children and trying to check in was I told that they canceled my reservation. I received ZERO notification. Not to mention the customer service was absolutely pitiful! No manager on site and I was offered no assistance to fix the issue. I was just told over and over to contact Expedia even though the hotel is the one who canceled. Very unprofessional! If I could rate a negative star I would. This place is completely non dependable and if you want good customer service this hotel is not for you.

Such a good VALUE!! And the kids loved the clean pool, with plenty of chairs for us adults to supervise!

Second time staying here for quick area visit with family. All staff are friendly and accommodating. Facility is clean and well maintained, room rates are reasonable. Both stays we noticed how quiet the hotel is, even when parking lot is obviously full in the evening. Breakfast area always clean and pleasant.

CLEAN! Cleanliness like most is my biggest concern at all hotels. Our overnight stay at this Sleep Inn location was very pleasing. We took a break from a long drive visiting family and were able to get some nice rest staying here. Check-in was super easy, no hassle, and quick. I was traveling with my two young daughters, and we enjoyed time in the pool. Crackle Barrell restaurant and TGIF were both in walking distance so that made dinner very easy and convenient. I would recommend Crackle Barrell over TGIF as the reviews at TGIF were not good at all. We had some fun shopping in Crackel Barrell as well. There is a gas station and car wash right by the hotel and it is located immediately off of the interstate. There are some other local stores in the area as well, but we did not explore much as we were relaxing at the hotel. The hotel was clean, clean and clean which made relaxing much easier! I will use this as our stopping point (midway between our family in KY and our home in DC) from now on. I stayed in the Sleep Inn located a few more miles down the freeway in the years past, which is also great and clean, however they just don't have a pool. The pool area was clean, well-kept and the room in the pool area was slightly warmed which we appreciated, and the water was not freezing cold, which we really appreciated. There were also plenty of clean pool towels available for us, ample seating and side tables. We easily could have stayed several more nights.

It was a great stay with the grandchildren. The pool was a hit on a cold winter day! Disappointed the whirlpool was gone, but was still a time.

For the money, you're not going to find a cleaner spot. It's a little old and dated in some regards, and it's not 100% spotless clean, but there's no odors, the bedding was clean, the carpet was a little older but it wasn't grungy and I didn't gross to walk on it. The room is huge, the bathrooms have been updated with new sinks, faucets, toilets, counters, showers, floors plus the LED lighting in the bathrooms is nice and bright. There was a large TV channel selection with about everything I can imagine, the hallways were clean, the outside property was clean. There was no prostitution or Riff Raff in or outside of the hotel. The owners and staff were friendly. There's a little gravel pull off on the other side of the Road where you can park a semi truck or a construction pickup with trailer and it was totally safe. There's a couple Mexican restaurants within walking distance but that's about it. There is a gas station on the other side of the interstate and the next exit down there's a few more other food options. Sometimes I stay at nice hotels that range between 200 and $300 a night especially if I'm with a girlfriend or family, but as a truck driver or for someone just looking for a clean place to lay your head down for the night and you don't want to have to worry about a bunch of Shady characters and you don't want to play smelling like an ashtray, this was an excellent place to stay at a great price. He could have charged $20 more and I would have felt fine with that.

We were surprised by how sleek and updated the interior of this hotel was, given previous reviews. We enjoyed our stay and felt that the atmosphere was classy. Our free breakfast had a variety of foods that met the needs of all the picky eaters in our family. We appreciated the complimentary beverages and cookies before bed. This was way, way nicer than we anticipated.
