Wingate by Wyndham Hurricane WV

Very clean and super comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. The rooms were spacious (we stayed in a double queen bed room ) easy to find and close to food, gas stations and Target. Continenal breakfast was delicious with many options for my family of 5 who all have different food preferences. Would highly recommend.

The room smelled. It left clothes smelling like a locker room or laundry room. Traveled with a baby and there were stains on the floor, didn't feel comfortable letting him roam.

Although I only stayed one night because I was out that way for a work trip the one night that I did stay it was very clean and mostly quiet. You could hear a few of the guest doors slamming when they closed them and some kids running upstairs I did also get woken up at 6 AM, loud diesel truck that was started out my window that had nothing to do with the facility

This was my family's second stay at this location and we have enjoyed both stays. The location is convenient to I 64 and there are plenty of eateries in the area. The staff is very friendly. We did have an issue with a dog that continually barked, but the front desk staff promptly moved us to another room. I would highly recommend this location.

Short stay but my kids would love to return. They said it was the best hotel in the world.

There were kids running up and down the hallways, knocking on doors late into the night. Spoke with the front desk and they said basically sorry can’t do nothing about it. People calling the rooms and hanging up. The walls and were so thin we could hear neighbors and people on the floor above.

Very clean and safe stay for my family!

Staff was very friendly & accommodating. When I walked into my room after check in, the room had not been cleaned. I told the cleaning lady and they did immediately take care of it. Offered me another room or they could clean the one I was in. So they did clean it and fortunately another family member had checked in and I was able to go in their room while I waited.

The place was amazing, the breakfast was great! The only downside was our neighbor had 2 dogs that were barking off and on all night continuously waking my kiddo.. frustrating.

On check in, it was pretty seamless. I booked a king thinking it was a suite but was easily switched to a different double room. After settling my kids into bed I took a shower and saw body hair from a razor on the shower ledge, body hair in the shower and on the floor by the shower. There was the extra pillow just thrown on the bed, not put in the closet shelf. In the morning I found debris in the carpet that was NOT from us. (Price tag, crumbs, etc). I informed the night staff and when I talked to the morning desk staff Christie she informed me they couldn’t refund me because I didn’t book through them. Then when hotels.com contacted them for a refund they denied it. So we got no compensation from them.
