I love Best Western, booked a Comfort Inn and the front desk was rude and refused my reservation. I had to pay 242.00 and wasnt allowed to stay with my tiny ESA certified dog. Best western are totally GREAT with my baby!

They had some middle school basketball tounament going on in town and the kids were uncontrolled and unsupervised. They were sitting in the stairwell blasting music. Slamming doors and running down the hallway. By 945pm i called the front desk and they said quiet time was 10pm and they would make "there rounds" after such. I was there for 2 nights and heard running in the hall, squealing, doors slamming well past 10 till almost 1. At the pool there would be a group of 6 to 8, 11 to 13 year old in the pool, with 0 supervision. They were on each others shoulders, splashing and screaming. We had to ask 2 different staff for pool towels and once they brought them by the kids tore through them dropping multiple on the wet floor. There was a family with full size pool floaties and pool balls floating around the pool and smacking the balls at each other to where we almost got hit. At breakfast the kids were still not supervised and made a huge mess out of the waffle and other areas then didnt clean up after themselves. Other than that, the beds creaked horribly and we could feel the springs of the mattress. The TV remote in our room wouldnt work at times. My boyfriend found hairs in the bathtub and the shampoo and conditioner were so small, there was no way we could share. Got barely any sleep, didnt even try for breakfast, and with the hottub down then a light being pulled out of the pool and sat on the side of the pool was just overall horrible. I drove 8 hours to graduate.

Start with the good... clean, not too dated, pool was decent for kids, room was spacious and breakfast was a good hotel spread, with lots of options, including GF. Yakima has a bit of a reputation in that area of lots of homelessness, drugs and crime but this hotel was mostly secure, tons of cameras and our vehicle wasn't tampered with. Area wasn't at all as bad as I expected.
The bad... black out shades need replacement. Between the otherwise appreciated super bright parking lot security lights and the morning sunrise the light got through the sides and bottom of the blackout shades. The fitness room equipment is in need of serious maintenance or repair. The buttons stuck on the treadmill then delayed sped up and was dangerous.
The ugly... for gods sake! Get a new room key coder! 8 times between two keys and one night we had to visit the front desk and know/saw many others doing the same. It's like the key coder was programmed for single use entry and required reprogramming.
If they fixed the room keys, Fitness equipment and black out shades it would certainly be a nice safe property and we would stay there again.

The room was ok, that was the only redeeming factor. Hotel staff were very unprofessional and would like at the drop of a hat. When I asked for the managers name they refused, even telling me they did not know who the manager was... The hot tub was one reason we chose the hotel in a stressful situation, but it was broken. Juice machine at breakfast was broken and there were no drinks for the kids available. Toilet plugged and there was no maintenance on site, hotel desk person didn't know the the difference between a plunger and a cleaning brush. We were woke up to be shown a toilet brush wrapped in a grocery bag. All in all one of the worst hotel stays we have ever had.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke when we walked in. The blackout curtains didn’t close and so there was a bright light from a hotel sign shining in our room. They knew we had 4 people in the room, but only gave us 2 towels. Beds were comfortable and the room size was good. The kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was mediocre with only a few options.

The hotel was fine. It gave us a place to stay, but nothing more than that. I’d imagine the rooms on the 2nd floor and up are brighter due to a 8’ high privacy fence one foot off the hotel room window. Made things dark. The sofa bed is atrocious, but our kids slept on it and was only a few nights. It was clean, included a breakfast and good access off the freeway.

I went into town for my grandfather's funeral. All I wanted was to sit in a hot tub and try to relax. Upon check in the girl working the counter would not look up our best western rewards card and then checked us in under the wrong name. .. That wouldn't have bugged me enough to write a review if it was not for the gentlemen working later that evening. There we're 3 families in the pool area. Approximately 10 towels were needed. I know for a fact that the other two families had asked for towels and yet no towels came for the hour and a half that we spent in the hot tub abd pool. When I was about to walk out with no towel, one lady gave me the one that she had gone up to her room and got. When I asked her if she was sure she said oh yea just go ask the front desk to bring us some towels. I gladly agreed. I walked up to the front desk, at this point I was still in a decent mood. I asked the gentlemen if she could get some towels for the pool. He got angry at my request and practically yelled at me that the only other employee was picking someone up from the airport and he could not leave the counter. I do not think I warranted the extreme attitude. I proceeded to go upstairs to shower off the pool and to my surprise the shower had a pressure blocker so I took my sprinkle of a shower in which it took me 20 min to just rinse off I didn't even bother trying to actually shower. I also noticed that their bar/restaurant was only open for like 2 hours ..
