The pool at Ruby River was excellent for kids. It was a zero entry with a hot tub attached. Additionally, the hours were great AND there was a lifeguard on duty for some of the hours. We appreciated that extra piece. Complimentary coffee each morning was also great. We walked along the trails, which made it easy to get to restaurants close by.

Restaurant advertised they had a brunch Sat & Sun which they no longer have. Didn't have crayons for the kids to color their menus. Host service was very poor. Shower door trim leaked really bad. Room was heavily scented which bothered all of us. Floor wasn't vacuumed very well. Area outside access door 1 on east side smelled like marijuana during the evenings. Pool was very nice and area was well maintained. Service staff was very pleasant.

On first impressions the property seemed to be a bit musty and dusty and despite the reno update still felt dated (there were things here and there that were broken. Bedside lamp, and our friends sliding glass door wasn’t working right). My allergies were bad, and I wondered if I was given a “pet room”. However, I was so impressed by how quiet the rooms were. We didn’t hear a peep in the evenings. We had a poolside room, and couldn’t even hear the pool noise in our room. Just based on the soundproofing I would stay again. We had two meals in the restaurant. Our first night was less than pleasant as the wait times were extremely long and we were traveling with kids. We did notice they were servicing a conference so understood that was likely why it took us so long to dine, but wasn’t communicated well and our server seemed to be absent a lot. But on our last morning went back and had a good redeeming experience! Pleasant and friendly service and food came out exceptionally fast! So hopefully just a one off experience the first time. Pool was pleasant and kept kids happy. Adults enjoyed the loungers. It’s an easy walk downtown and location was good!

Definitely not as nice as the photos I would compare it to a Motel 6 which is fine but looking through all the pictures on the app we thought we were getting a little bit nicer Hotel. Traveling with my family of 6 booked two rooms through the app. The app wants you to list any other person staying in the other room so I just picked one of my kids not knowing that they're going to have to show ID when you check in, which is a little bit of a pain. Location was fine close to downtown pool looked nice just during our stay It was super packed it looked like spring break in Mexico

The rooms are average size. Which is good. It was a buisy weekend for Hoopfest so the hotel was full. Was nice because that ment there were lots of other kids so we didnt have to tip toe around. We were on the bottom floor with a patio out to the pool. Loved it. Although they had to clean the pool on saturday evening so it closed early. That was a bummer but everyone likes a clean pool. I would recommend the hotel.

Good family friendly place to stay. Our fridge and coffee maker didn’t work so that was a bummer and there was a pet fee they didn’t tell about in the listing but all in all it worked.

The pool area was unattended and the hot tub was packed with 12 and under kids throughout our stay. I was awakened at 730am today with loud banging moises, like hammering, inside the hotel. The kitchen had almost a one hour wait. The staff were good, and the room was clean. The oool area very nice, the fitness room so-so

Something for everyone here - be it kid friendly pool or sophisticated restaurant and patio. Right on the river walk for leisurely walking or jogging.

Always love our stay at Ruby River. The beautiful Centennial Trail offers walking options, two pools keep the grandkids busy and a great restaurant.
