It took a long time to check in because they had our last name and first name reversed. It appeared as though they may have upgraded us when they figured it out. There was a huge group of kids there whom left trash in the hallways and elevators, pulled the fire alarm, and ran the hallways while yelling. If it weren’t for them, the hotel would get a better rating.

Easy access to downtown Spokane. Not very charming though. Facility fees felt steep and unnecessary. No swimming pool, which was a huge disappointment. If you have kids, try somewhere else.

It was great even though there were loud neighbors allowing their child yell and run on their room.

We have been staying there for years on family Christmas trips and has been great. This time was a little different. For the price, we expected to have the room made up, (there was no mention of requesting service at checkin) but were told they just didn't have time. No consideration in price, just a Oh, well, sorry!. Expected more from the Davenport.

Not family friendly. Quiet hours start at 10pm so if you have kids that sleep early they will get to hear drunk people screaming. When we called the front desk to ask if they could ask them to be quieter in the halls, the manager said,”their hands were tied, until after 10pm.”the Furniture was dingy and stained. Almost run down looking. Overall I do not recommend

Clean hotel, comfortable bed, nice bathtub and shower.
Hotel staff service was average, at best. As we waited in line to check in, a different couple walked right in front of us and was helped first, when it was obvious that they should have gotten in line behind. The representative at check in spoke quickly and quietly and I had to ask her several times (5 or more) to repeat what she said, which seemed to annoy her. On the way to our room, I said hello to a housekeeping staff member and got no response.
The room was nice. We had a junior suite and I would have liked to have a small refrigerator and a microwave. We spent our wedding night here and had leftovers from our dinner that could not be saved. Also, I had asked for two accommodations being that we were getting married: a room with a view of the park and the option to check in at 3pm, an hour earlier than normal check in time. Both requests were denied.
All in all, I would not stay at this hotel again, nor will I probably ever recommend it to anyone. For the price, location, and reputation this hotel holds, I think they could do a lot better.

Check in was horrible. The listing was misleading, there isn’t a pool on site, it’s at a different property. The people next to us had a gnarly DV situation. Staff was unconcerned with it which raised red flags.
We booked for 1 adult 1 child breakfast buffet. Had to stand in the front desk line for 20 minutes just to get the voucher for it that we should have gotten at check in.
Staff was abrupt and rude.
Looks like a nice place, certainly made with social media posts made in mind, but for customer satisfaction….it’s a 1.5/10

I forgot a bedrail I brought for my child and when I called about they said they couldnt locate it. Its not like this is a small item that could be misplaced or not seen. So its shocking to me they cant locate it. This makes feel like I wouldnt want to stay again. Also didnt have a mini fridge in our room for milk and they wanted to charge an extra $15 for it. Ridiculous. Otherwise we had a good stay and its in a good location

The Davenport Grand in Spokane, WA, was a wonderful overnight stop for my family of 4. We picked Spokane as the halfway point between Glacier National Park and our home of Portland, OR, to break up the drive. The hotel is a gorgeous art deco property just a block or 2 away from Spokane's lovely downtown riverfront park. Many dining options in walking distance and a lovely outdoor bar on a large terrace.
The room was very large and the walk-in shower luxurious. We would have enjoyed a longer stay!

I was so amazed at their top notch service. Front desk, valet boys, room service kids. Davenport holds a very high standard of excellence from their employees and it shows!!
