I flew 32 years for a major airline. Two thirds of my career was spent traveling. I know “The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly” of hotels. We were disappointed in our stay in Spokane. Here goes: 1) there was half a roll of toilet paper in the room, I would even go as far as to say what was there was “John Wayne TP - it was slick and tough, and wouldn’t crap off anyone”. 2) I went to bed and suddenly felt something rubbing on my feet. I finally moved the object to the side and untucked the sheet to find a cap from a plastic water bottle, 3) The tub had a bit of antiskid on the bottom but I could not safely stand in the tub for a shower. I had to lay a bath towel down to feel safe. 4) We discovered a 110v plug to be inop in the desk lamp. This was not a great stay at a Marriott.

The pool was way too cold to comfortably swim with my kids and I had to ask 2 of the times we went to the pool for towels because there were none. Might want to keep a better stock of hot cocoa - there was only one pack which was a bummer. The couch sofa was not very comfortable at all and could use a warmer blanket. Otherwise the trip was good! The people at the front desk were helpful anytime we had to ask them for anything.

Traveling as often as we do with 4 kids, check-in was smooth even though we arrived late in to the night, staff was friendly & helpful, had everything we needed and more, plenty of variety and quality breakfast items. We will definitely stay again!!!

We were happy with our stay at Residence Inn! However there were a few hiccups. When we booked a few months ago we requested a room on the 1st floor so it would be closer to the pool for our kids. This was confirmed by an employee but was not fulfilled. No big deal, we got a room on the third floor which was very quiet. There was AC in the main living space but not the adjoining room which made for big temperature differences between areas. Lastly, they ran out of milk 2 of the 7 breakfasts we were there. Things we enjoyed most was the warm, clean pool, the added privacy of having a seperate bedroom from our kids, and the location!
