There was a strong flowery smell that was overwhelming. The swimming pool is not heated and was too cold for my grandchildren to enjoy. Breakfast is very limited and coffee unavailable until 7:30 ish there is also a charge for both as well as parking. A premium price with no amenities.

We came down just for one night from BC to take our kids to the Imagine Children’s Museum. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, the underground parking was safe and there was a lot of it which I really appreciated. For the purpose of our trip you cant beat the location. The room was spacious, quiet and perfect for what we needed.

The hotel itself was great! The kids had a great time in the pool, the rooms were clean and they have a huge area in the lobby to sit and relax/eat…The area around the hotel is another matter, alot of homeless and transient..Definitely gives off a sketchy vibe.

This hotel is within walking distance of many tourist attractions…Angel of the Winds Arena, Funko Pop, and Imagine Children’s Museum, to name a few. It is modern and nice. Our room was on a corner with a great view. The room we reserved did not have an accurate description. It was supposedly a “King with Double Sofa Bed,” with a stated occupancy of 4. Unfortunately, the double sofa bed only pulled out to a twin. Luckily, we were traveling with kids, and they were able to smash onto it together, somewhat uncomfortably. It would never have worked for adults. No roll aways were available. No sheets, pillows, or blankets were provided for the pull-out. We had to ask for them. The tub didn’t drain well and all the bathroom sink/shower faucets were unlabeled and extremely difficult to use. Lots of trial and error was involved. There were noticeable little hairs in the bathroom that were not ours. The restaurant food was good. The hot tub was closed by the health department and the pool was very cold, although the air in the pool room was very hot.

The ladies at the front desk were friendly and greeted us when we checked in. The room was very nice and clean. We were staying 3 nights, attending a hockey tournment. There were no housekeeping services provided. No towels at the pool. We were not told any of this at the beginning of the stay. We were thinking every other day would be houskeeping if not daily. We arrived on Friday, by Sunday our garbage was not emptied. We saw a housekeeper cart in the hall Sunday morning as we went to our game, came back and garbage was still full. Housekeeping phone was always busy. My husband noticed they finally emptied the garbage by the elevator and took our garbage cans and emptied them in the garbage can in the lobby. We had another family tell us they contacted the front desk 5 times and didn't get their garbage changed either. Very disappointing for a Marriott.

Who was disappointingly small and full of loud children. No adult time was specified. Mixed inconsistent information from from front desk about pool and
parking.

Its a beautiful property, very new and clean. Front staff need to be able to give proper guidance to a customer checking in. As a customer I should not have to ask about where to park, where breakfast will be served, what the pool hours are, which way to the elevators to the room, etc... Also, as a customer and member of Marriot, when mentioned I had already checked in for my room to be ready, and yet been told my room is not available and will contact housekeeping... felt like the staff needs to learn to be more courteous and friendly when checking in customers. Also, the pool area needs alot of attention... the main pool was gross and foggy looking as if it wasnt cleaned, and the water was cold when advertised being a heated pool, the whirlpool doesn't even work properly, and its not cool for families to have babies in the pool without proper swim attire. If the rule is listed and the hot staff comes ti drop off towels, as for the safety of others, they should say something to the family, not nice to see dirty diapers laying around the pool area too when it says to use the designated area.

This is the second year we booked for new years eve at this location. Last year we were told the pool was out of order so we left because… we were coming as a staycation so my kid could swim. This year we confirmed early and it was working so we continued with plans. The day before our stay we were emailed and said there was a problem with our room (suite, splurged for holiday) they offered us a different room at a discount and confirmed the pool was working. The room was large with a view but there was splatter on the ceiling (blood? Mold?) broken soap dispensers in the shower. The pool and whirpool hot tub were freezing the first day, the second day the pool heater was working and there was a sign on whirpool that it was out of order. There were no towels at the pool and water everywhere. We asked for towels and no one ever brought them. The coffee at the cafe was broken all they had was drip that tasted like gas station coffee in a starbucks cup they charged us $10 for. At a glance the hotel looks nice but there is a lot that needs improvement. We won’t stay again, we like the Delta a mile a way will stick with that next time.
