While some families found the hotel's upscale atmosphere a bit formal, many appreciated the spacious rooms, which are perfect for families with young children. The hotel provides cribs and baby toiletries, and the friendly staff go the extra mile, as shown by the bellman leaving a puzzle for one family's child. Room service is available, although the options may be limited. While the pool can get busy, it's a highlight for many children. The Fairmont is a beautiful property and the suite was great for our family — kids groused a bit about the sofa bed when we first walked into the room, but reported in the morning that it was very comfortable. Blackout curtains very welcome. Restaurant and Founders Lounge were great. Everything in the area is pretty expensive but we loved our time at the Fairmont Olympic. Shoutouts to Brittany at the front desk and Giulio with luggage for all their help in making this a lovely stay, even when the hotel was super busy.

I have no relationship financial or otherwise to Fairmont hotels. Need that out of the way before I start to gush about this hotel. This is a 5 star experience at a 3 star price. It start with the valet who was welcoming and helpful and took care of parking luggage etc. all this when we arrived at 3am! The service is high end European style the food and coffee in the various restaurants is exquisite. We had a junior suite which was roomy and comfortable. Concierge was extraordinarily helpful on several business matters. Seattle is still crime ridden but it is improving but we felt safe walking to Pike Street Market during daytime hours. We came here for a concert and vowed to return again soon for the pampering and great food! Amazing value.

This is an amazing hotel, beautiful! It is FANCY! With that, we definitely felt underdressed with our road tripping kiddos upon entering. The parking garage elevator was broken, but valet service is available.

The parking lot could have been closer and more convenient. I found out on day of checkout also that we could have requested a fridge in the room. I wish someone at the front desk would have offered that given I have kids.

The only thing that we found irritating was at the pool. There were kids jumping into the water and annoying adults. The parents were no where in sight. No staff came out to check on things. We went there for the pool and hot tub and did not get to enjoy it.

Really nice, large rooms. Great stay with our 10-month old. They have actual cribs and provide a nice baby toiletry kit. It was a nice surprise! The bar area is gorgeous. It’s in a great area. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Great restaurant, beautiful bar, very grand lobby. Classic opulence from a different time period. Pool was filled with kids but it’s July in Seattle on a Saturday. Shrug

We stayed for mother's day with the family and had such a great time. The kids loved the pool and room service. Room service options are limited but we had dinner and breakfast and it was all delicious. The bellman was also so nice and left a frozen puzzle at our door for our four year old. The room was beautiful and spacious. We plan on staying again soon for a date night so we can enjoy the bar at the Se tee of the lobby.

The room was very cold. The heater was on for 24/7 but it wasnt getting any better. I told front desk but nothing really changed other than receiving a heating fan. My baby was coughing the next day. It supposed to be the greatest five star hotel in WA, but I couldn’t feel that way (other than interior).
