Staff at the hotel were super helpful. We were on the 19th floor with a city view, and the room was great. Plenty of room for a family of three. The sofa bed left a little something to be desired, even as sofa beds go, but the couch was comfortable enough by itself so nights 2-4 we didn't even use the pull out. It was nice that the breakfast was included but three of the four days we were there it was a madhouse. Staff does their best to keep up, but there were still an overwhelming amount of people, which was weird because other than that, the hotel was super quiet. Great spot. Would definitely come back.

Great location for rail commute. Great dining choices with its proximity to Chinatown. Good breakfast buffet with made too to order omelette. Seattle has changed a lot from the last time I visited 25 years ago. The homeless population has increased exponentially and 2nd hand smoke from weed reeks from everywhere. Not good if you have small children around.

Not suitable for families with small children. Lots of homeless and smell of weed just a couple blocks from the hotel. However if you can avoid walking, the hotel is great and the hospitality is amazing.

Went for spring break trip as a family/kids in late March / early April. Property itself is great, wonderful location near Chinatown and the sporting venues (NFL/MLB). We were able to check in early with an upgraded room thanks to the great staff. The kids loved the hotel pool which is on a higher floor if I remember correctly and has great views of the stadiums and city facing south.
We loved the free breakfast when staying at Embassy Suites and overall food was decent. Happy hour on the other hand, very little to no snacks/food. There are many top notch items for food/dining within walking distance of the hotel.
Finally, keep in mind what events are happening at the stadiums nearby when you book this hotel. I totally missed the fact that it was opening day weekend for the baseball season and there was a monster truck event at the NFL stadium next door. Why this advice is important is that if you have a car and you are going to use the parking garage at the hotel, that parking garage and the street leading to it are next to impossible to get to as these events are being let out. It is one-way traffic out of the stadium and they will not let you in to park in the parking garage, which by the way is also used during events and gets full quickly. I waited an hour in front of the lobby to park until all the traffic cleared. I also gave feedback to management that they really should let guests know about the parking situation when there are events happening next door.

The suite in this hotel is great and functioned well for our family. The breakfast and happy hour are also really well done. Things that were not as easy: although there is a small convenience store nearby, there is no grocery store close. When we arrived, an event was happening at the stadium behind the hotel which closed the street down for over 2 hours after it let out, which meant that after a very long day of travel we couldn't park our car or check in and had to drive around for hours until the parking garage road was reopened. Also, if you are going to the space needle area, it is not close by-and is a $15-20 taxi away from the hotel. Lastly, if you want your room cleaned, you need to give 24 hours notice, which is inconvenient because in our case we didn't realize until dinnertime, which meant we had to be gone the following day at that time so the room could be cleaned.
But overall, a nice hotel in terms of amenities, the pool, and walkable to the stadium or pike place market
