DO NOT STAY AT THE HEATHMAN HOTEL. Customer service is terrible. The valet broke our driver side mirror (honest mistake), but the manager dragged his feet in response. It took 7 days to get a response from him and the insurance company, while we were delayed, staying much longer than we had to in the area, at other hotels, racking up over $1700 in fees. His response? When he finally returned my third call? “We comped your one night stay and gave you a $300 credit for a future stay.” Wow. Any responsible hotel manager would have at least offered to pay half of our stay in other hotels, while were waiting to fix the car, due to delays in getting the parts. Not this one. Camerin did less than the bare minimum to satisfy the customer. Aside from this debacle, it may have been pet-friendly, but it certainly was not pet-convenient. Grass was only available in questionably safe areas at night. Crossing the street to go to a patch of grass in front of the library, I almost got mugged. The hotel room must have been designed for children, as we had to crouch down to reach the toilet seat and the sink. The bed was as low as a futon. When turning on the sink, it sounded like a bomb was going off.

We stayed in an accessible room, with an adjoining room. This was very convenient for my family. We have an accessible van, and there was no convenient parking, however. The roll in shower is really more suited for a standing individual, than someone in a chair, with the hand-held nozzle was very high up on the wall. The restaurant wasn’t great food (dinner service), however our server was very good and helpful. We definitely would stay here again, even with the difficult parking, however, we suggest eating before your check in or plan walk to a different venue.

The staff at this hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. While my four-legged family member didn't join me this time, I've appreciated the pet-friendly environment during previous visits. Although the restaurant's food was average, the complimentary Starbucks coffee in the lobby each morning was a nice touch, adding convenience and comfort to my mornings. However, there were a couple of issues that affected my experience. Despite contacting housekeeping at 10:15am to arrange a room cleaning, I was informed it was too late, which was disappointing. Additionally, the bathroom had a recurring problem with steaming up after showers, making it uncomfortable to use. Furthermore, the workout room was on the smaller side. Overall, while the hotel's staff and amenities like the complimentary coffee were highlights, the issues with housekeeping, bathroom, and workout facilities detracted from the overall experience.

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend away from our kids. Room was clean and beautiful. Area was perfect and so much fun. The only issue we had was at check out. They totally forgot to get our car from valet for 30 minutes even though we were sitting next to the desk. The attendant even said that he was caught up and then they asked us if we were waiting for our car. He didn't seem to be able to find our keys easily.
