Super close to the beach right on the boardwalk. Building is pretty outdated but we stayed in the family room and it was very spacious

This hotel was exactly what I thought it would be, friendly staff, great location, clean rooms. I was here for work and would stay here again.
To be clear this is not a 5 star resort, but you get a nice clean room for a great price. Rooms had some updates but weren’t high end finishes. Bathroom could use some work, but was good for me. Rooms came with a microwave and a mini fridge and a separate “kitchen” sink. Heater/air conditioner were updated recently.
Vending machines were available but kind of a sad little vending area. I like hotels that have a small shop area, but this is hardly a deal breaker with all the shops nearby. The pool looked ok, little small but my guess is that the kids would have fun with it. Plus you are there for the beach.

Exceeded expectations! Great restaurant on premises. Want a three-bed option for your family right on the boardwalk with an ocean view…they got ya covered. Would def come back!

We got a family suite at a good rate. The room was really big and on the water, centrally located. Staff were nice and engaging.

The staff is friendly. The rooms are a bit dingy. The hotel is in a good location if you want to be close to all the action in Virginia Beach. The pool was fun for my kids and beach accessibility Overall good experience, but definitely like a cleaner hotel.

Location, location, location! Centrally located on Atlantic Street and right on the boardwalk with direct beach access. Parking plenty. Small indoor pool that only accomodates five swimmers at a time. Very clean, smells nice, no bugs. Every room has a private balcony overlooking the boarwalk with two chairs and a table, though no screen door to the patio, only a glass slider. Perfect place to see the sun ruse. The restaurant here, the salt water grill was awesone, delicious breakfast and no waiting list. The rooms are spacious with a small efficiency kitchen *microwave, fridge, conter, sink, small keurig like coffee maker that makes one cup at a time). Ice machines on 2nd and 7th floor with vending machines for snacks and drinks. Bathroom on first floor for use when at the beach, only steps from the building. Hotel is definitely dated, could use updatibg but it is small, safe, quiet, family friendly and affordable. You are there for the beach. Everything is an easy walk and accessible to the trolley system. The servuce is impecable....Laurie at the front desk treats you like family. Only negative, and it is a BIG one is that the matresses are TERRIBLE. Two of us got no sleep at all. The front desk told us they are working in replacing the mattresses so check with them when you check in. Avoid room 304. This was my fourth time in VA beach abd my favorite and most affordable hotel. Replace all the mattresses and this place is a gem.........

Smallish hotel on the beach. The staff treated you more like family than guests. Very personable and helpful. Clean rooms. Not all the bells and whistles of some of the bigger chain hotels but staff personality alone is far better than any other hotel. Nice restaurant on site and nice outside dining area. We decided that this is going to be out GOTO hotel when we return.
