Four Points By Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

This place was a great stay. The rooms are bit small but it fit a family of 4 fine. Great view and location. Staff was friendly. Parking was ok. I recommend and I would stay there again.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly. The hotel always smelt great. Great view of the ocean. Watched the dolphins from our balcony. The pool was nice and warm which was perfect with our small children. Only small complaint is the bathroom area was very small and I wish there was more storage for our clothes.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there was was somewhat major problem with the hotel that I feel needs to be addressed somehow in the future. I stayed on the 2nd floor and the hallway between rooms had absolutely no padding on the walls to dampen the sound of other guests. Anytime a door would open/shut or a child would scream you could hear it very audibly in the room you were staying in. I'm not sure if this problem was on every floor, but 2 was bad. The bathroom for a King was very small, no counterspace for much. Room view was FANTASTIC though, and it was great having the balcony. I spend most of my time walking around and/or sitting on the balcony just listening to the ocean. Front desk staff was fantastic, and it was honestly them and the room view that made it so I didn't rate at a 3. Seriously though, front desk staff were fantastic and super nice.

Our family stayed here years ago when the hotel was under another name. I must say that we were all highly impressed with the renovations, cleanliness of the facility and the staff who were very respectful. Downside: my car was hit in the parking garage during our stay and I now have a "buckle" to the hatch of my 2018 Pathfinder that was otherwise spotless. I reported this to the hotel on 8/6/23, asking to have camera footage reviewed as well as filed a report with VA Beach police. I have yet to hear any results. We will be back, but I will monitor my car more closely.

After all things considered, we enjoyed our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton. The property had a nice parking garage with easy access and elevators on two of the parking decks that take you directly to room floors. Staff was very inviting and courteous and extremely responsive to any needs we had throughout our stay. We stayed on the 8th floor and had a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and boardwalk below. Housekeeping was always timely and efficient and helped keep us comfortable during our stay. Beach access was attached to property and conveniently located near a beach shower to wash off sand etc. Also attached was a great restaurant "jumpin shrimp" that offered great happy hour specials. There is also a convience store attached to purchase anything you may have forgotten/food/drinl/alc. The only "negatives" (which aren't a huge deal for a 2 star property) - Many outlets in the room did not work - they wouldn't keep things plugged into them. Water pressure was subpar (maybe it was because we were up so high). Paint in the room was done poorly - you could see they painted around outlets and fixtures and could even see writing behind the paint. There are only two elevators which can be pretty slow during busy times. The pro's certainly outweigh the cons in our opinion and we would recommend this property at its pricepoint. We are a family of 5 with young children and the helpful staff, convenient location and indoor pool made it very welcoming for our vacation week.

Could not park in parking garage because of oversized trucks in there hallway smells like weed all day kids playing outside door house keeping did not clean my room the whole stay I would not stay there anymore I had to check out 2 days early because of the noise and smell I will never stay there again

This hotel was great to stay at. My family and I were not a fan of the restaurant food. Both breakfast and dinner. My only issue is they need to make sure the food comes out hot! It also needs to be seasoned well. 👀… The hotel has a very spacious entry and lounge area. The rooms were clean. I didn’t sleep well for the several nights of our stay because the mattress was extremely firm. I could deal with that because the view of the ocean was beautiful.❤️ Housekeeping came to our room every morning to see if we needed anything which I really appreciated and everyone was very kind.

We got the King Suite which was ocean facing. Clean room, decent bedding and great views. Property was very clean given it was ocean front and quite a bit of traffic. The staff was great/friendly. The Jumpin Shrimp restaurant on-prem is a great choice for meals with ample ocean side seating. Overall a great experience for our family.
