We love the Linden Row Inn and have stayed here several times while visiting family in Richmond. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are always amazing.

Thought we had each booked a room, however, we as girls aunt/cousin family visit to VCU grad student, had a bit of miscommunication with each other and only booked one king bed room. The manager and staff at Linden Row went out of their way to ensure we had a room with two beds and even waved any extra change fee. Had stayed here before and would absolutely stay again. So appreciative of the AWESOME customer service! Beautifully clean and spacious room. Great location to walk around the VCU campus. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Richmond and/or VCU.

Nice spacious room for a family of four. But could definitely could use more hooks/rods for hanging towels - need to have enough for four people!

The room accommodation was stellar and the staff was great. However, I did not feel safe leaving my car in parking garage. The coffee maker did not work and had to be replaced. It was put in an inconvenient location for filling with water. At around ten, a family checked in above our suite. They were running around and shouting, which was disturbing to sleep.

We loved staying at this historic inn. The preservation of the architecture was wonderful and it was very relaxing. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Have told several friends and family about the inn and recommended that they stay there the next time they are in Richmond.

I would never recommend this proper to anyone. We had no hot water for our entire stay. It was not even Luke warm. We had no cable access so therefore could no watch tv. And those aren’t even the worse thing. One of the staff members was abusive to my family members including my 92 year old aunt. We were told this was not the only incident w/ this person, thankfully the hotel took action and fired him & walked him off the premises. His abbusiveness was extremely disturbing & ruined our weekend

We were in town for a family event this past weekend and I wanted to find somewhere unique in downtown. Linden Row definitely fit the bill. The property itself is a beautiful structure and the staff (including Anabelle the kitty) was very friendly. Our room was comfortable (one the most supportive mattresses I have ever had in a hotel), but it and the whole property, really, could use a good cleaning. Everything from window blinds to the bathroom fan was incredibly dusty. The walls around switch plates. door handles, moldings, etc. were brown from being touched over time. It is an old structure with an old structure's imperfections and character, which is part of what makes it so great. But a little soap and water and dusting would go a long way. Location is great--parking is convenient and really inexpensive, and it is easy walking distance to some really great restaurants like Perly's (worth a trip to Richmond on its own!) and Julep.
