Horrible stay. Was told on arrival the elevators were broken so I had to walk a 3 year old an 8 month up 4 flights of steps with bags. No offer to help. Sheets and blankets dirty and stained. Called to ask for replacements and shampoo conditioner which were not laid out and I was told to come down and get them. Down 4 flights with two children and no elevator to get new set of sheets that were ripped and tattered.

Check-in was easy! I had a very helpful chat with the woman at the front desk about the area. My room was just what I needed. My main complaints is the tub looked gross so I did not shower as I’d planned and also the walls were too thin, as I was able to hear people speaking loudly in the hall, the woman next door also speaking loudly and the children running around above me.. but overall I Did enjoy my stay:)

The room we reserved was spacious for my husband, teen, toddler, and I to stay 2 nights (1 king & sofa bed). There was conveniently a microwave and small/med fridge inside. However, we were a bit underwhelmed once we got into the hotel after reading all the wonderful reviews. The front desk gal was very quiet and didn't say much at all. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the hallway was always super hot, and smelled of weed the first night, and cigarettes the next. Luckily, our room smelt nicer than the hallway, but was also too warm and turned down the temp. The door to the stairs on the 1st floor was broken and slammed loudly. The 2nd floor has an overhang to the 1st floor, allowing the sound to be hurd on the 2nd floor. Going into the room, there were many lights to turn on, and was not very well lit unless all of them were on, but the blackout curtains were nice for sleeping in! The room itself did appear clean, just outdated. The sofa bed also didn't fully lay flat, and it squeaked a lot. The king bed was very comfortable and the extra chairs were a plus. I had requested for a crib for my 2 year old, however, this also was outdated and reminded me of the cribs at the hospitals in the late 80's/early 90's; about 3.5ft x 2ft, white metal crib on wheels, firm base pad, that squeaked a lot. Breakfast was only OK, but dining area is very small and often full. The gym is extremely outdated and cables were broken. In a great location with lots of food and shopping options.

The lobby and bedrooms were renovated and looked nice. My family could not stay in the first room we were given due to the strong odor of marijuana. I had to argue with the front desk to get another room. Later we passed another guest smoking a joint outside the front door. The bathroom in second room was not renovated or clean. The bottom of the tub was stained, the sink counter was damaged and the floor was filthy.

I always look forward to stopping here on my drive between my home in the FL Keys and my family in CT. The location is most convenient and the surrounding area is full of restaurants. This property has an excellent and well trained staff, charming and polite, very welcoming. My travel partner, Baxter my dog, gives this place a big thumbs up too.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and this was such a good nights sleep for our family after a long hot day at the ballfield. The room was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning on our way out. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Harrisonburg!

Disappointing stay…. While the beds were clean (thank goodness) and comfortable, not much else was. The bathtub was unusable, looked like someone was sick in it and it was cracked in a number of places. The room above had what must have been a child or large dog running back and forth making loud noise until after 11:00pm. The bathroom was filthy under the shelf vanity. Overall the room was tired and not clean.

Everything was good including breakfast. However they have twin size beds, not queen so it was inconvenient for our family.

To see a gay flags on the entrance make me have a bad experience from the beggining. I booked because it says it was a family hotel. So the last thing that i wanted was to esplain my kids what type of perversion is this in society... keep celebrating wrong behavior and no more bussines with me or people around me
