Great hotel, nice and friendly staff. We stayed for breakfast in the morning amd to let the kids swim so the later checkout was nice. We will def be back.

You should not have to pay for water or your breakfast when you stay in a Hotel that carries the Hilton name all of your location should carry the same things I stayed in Dover and my breakfast was included with my room I stayed in Fredericksburg and I had to pay extra for me and my grandkids meals that went over my budget!! And that was not good at all When I booked this hotel I was not in formed about this then I didn’t get the suite for Handicapped that I asked for I will never stay at this hotel again!!!!!

The smoke alarm went off at 1:45 AM waking up the entire hotel, apparently caused by their own negligent kitchen staff. People said this is the second night in a row it has happened. I tried to call the front desk several times and no one answered, It was impossible to get my toddlers back to sleep after that. We have a very long drive in the morning that will be now be very dangerous and difficult on no sleep. I paid good money to SLEEP here and no one got any sleep!
FYI- the shower curtain rod is lose and could fall at any minute and the pillows need replaced.

We paid for breakfast when we reserved the rooms. In the morning we were told that the cook called out sick and only continental breakfast was available. There was cold oatmeal and cereal.
While we were denied what we had already paid for we watched families order breakfast alacart, and get served. The waitress took our orders, apologizing for the confusion and went to the kitchen. About ten minutes later the waitress returned and stated that she would not be able to get our food because the person that was cooking said that she had other things to do in the hotel, again as we watched the families ordering ala cart get their food.
There was no coffee and the front clerks response stunk..."its not my fault, i just got here". There were other hotels in area , i would have thought a large hotel with that much reputable competition in the immediate area would be able to handle a problem like this or at the minimum be able to field the a complaint without making the customer feel like they were being a pain in the butt.

Facility was fine. I had paid for 3 breakfasts and we had a family emergency the morning of checkout that I needed to attend to. Upon checkout I said my husband was waiting for me in the car and asked if I could just grab a single muffin and coffee. The woman staffing the checkout desk told her I needed to bring her a receipt. That’s pretty bad customer service. I just paid $250 for a hotel and 3 breakfasts. To act so begrudgingly was super offputting. We travel frequently and I have tended toward Hilton Garden and Doubletrees because of their price point and service. I will definitely reconsider this. A muffin, for god’s sake?!?!

The property is conveniently located in the city. The room was clean. The staff that I encountered were friendly. The hotel was quiet. I had a good experience traveling with my small family for a two night stay. I would stay again

I loved the courtesy calls, and kind and helpful employees. The hotel waa clean and rooms were huge. I wish there were more food options and kid choices.

Id like to give some feedback on my recent stay. Some good and some not great. The rooms were clean and the staff was great. All of them were very friendly.
We did not appreciate the breakfast. When we booked the reservations through Expedia, we paid $10 for each of our 4 guests for a continental breakfast. We were faced with a choice of either a cold breakfast (cereal and bread/bagels) for $8.95 or a continental breakfast for $13. This would be on top of the $10 for each person I paid already since they couldnt cred us back. Not sure why I paid $10? Where did this number come from?
For the price we paid, we could have gone somewhere cheaper and had a hot breakfast included.
Is this typical of Hilton? Not sure how well this is working out but its a one time deal for me and my family.
If I had known about the breakfast, i would have opted out and gone somewhere else but because it was falsified to us, unfortunately we wont be back.

This hotel was a Hilton Garden Inn and by far the most expensive of my Orbitz choices in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I chose this one because of the name and also the amenities that were mentioned. It said there was a restaurant/ tavern and a bar inside the hotel. There was not either. It was around 7pm when I finally checked in after traveling all day from New England. I didn't want to have to go out driving around for dinner with my toddler and I. There was a very limited amount of good snacks offered at front desk and we were both very tired. The girl working there told us there would be breakfast in the morning that we could order. We went downstairs about 9 AM the next day to find out that breakfast was done for that day and we couldn't order anything. A manager came out and told us we could have a bagel or some cereal and I really wanted something substantial for the rest of our car ride. She then came back out and told us the cook was willing to make us a fresh breakfast for a fee. We then ordered breakfast for my son and I a kids breakfast for $8.95 and the child's breakfast for $13.95. She brought out our food and the eggs looked like they had been sitting there all morning maybe even come off of somebody else's plate the food was not very good coffee was cold and it cost me $30 plus gratuity in order to throw away this breakfast. The bear was comfortable but I won't be staying at Hilton hotels again.
