You can't beat the location + price combination! Walkable (about a mile or so) to Lane Stadium, so you could avoid parking fees and traffic for games, graduations, and other events. While the facility is older, the staff keep the rooms fresh, clean, and comfortable. They even had a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The best aspect are the people. I get the impression this is a family-owned motel, and they were incredibly nice. I came in late evening Saturday for the Hokie Half Marathon on Sunday. The gentleman at the front desk greeted me, we had a fund conversation as I checked in, and he offered to help me with parking in the back. Moreover, when I explained I was there for the race, they offered a late checkout. I was able to come back, rest for a bit, and shower without being bothered by the cleaning team. The cleanliness, comfort, price, and small niceties make this my new go-to when I'm in Blacksburg.

We were going to be in Blacksburg for just one night on a busy VT weekend. Rather than spend $300 for one night in an average hotel, we read reviews in the VT Parents Facebook group, rolled the dice and stayed here. Great decision! While the Inn is dated, our room was exceptionally clean, the king size bed was brand new, and the owner treats you like family. Truly a nice guy. And we saved $200 in the process, so an all-around win. We will be back!

We checked in late, the owner was great, he had everything ready when we arrived. The building & rooms are old, the coffee was horrible but the sheets were clean and the pillows were new & very fluffy. The room did have a fridge & microwave which was very nice, as well as a large desk with a huge mirror...great for me & the girls to get at the same time. We had a king & queen beds in the room...which was wonderful for us & the kids. We forgot our toothbrushes and at midnight the manager searched the office until he found us some....he was kind enough to bring them to our room even as late as it was. He was also very gracious about allowing us a late checkout.

Nice family run inn. Very basic room with clean sheets and towels and clean interior. I would stay here again.
