Hilton Garden Inn Alexandria Old Town National Harbor

Free snack was a hot with my boys! Very generous and definitely made a big impact with my family. Roof deck patio needs a bit more design and personality.

Parking is expensive and would have liked a bathroom fan/lock on bathroom door. But it was perfect for our family.

Heater was broken and hot water was not readily available. I called manager and left message, he didn’t call back. We also had one night where 12 year old kids were making noise in the halls for hours. The front desk admitted to ten other complaints but said they couldn’t do much more than log the complaints

There was a fire on our floor on the first night that we were staying in alexandria. The sprinkler system went off in the hallway of our floor, but not in our actual room. We were told that there were no more available rooms left at the hotel and that the best they could do was to get us a new room at another hilton property. We chose to stay because we were not able to drive and had family that had also just gotten into town. The next day (sunday, the 16th) we left the hotel in the morning and didn't arrive back until 7pm. We came back to find that our room had been entered without our consent and dryers were placed in our room to help with moisture that was apparently present. Our privacy was compromised as no one even attempted to reach out to us to let us know that we needed to leave the room. I refuse to pay for this trip after the service I was provided.
