Parking garage underneath building was not ideal - not enough space for full size car. Pool not open when included in amenities, bummer for my kids during a hot week in the area. Flies in breakfast area. Distance to Metro was great.

The staff were wonderful, beds uncomfortable, toilet was really low for tall people and the closet needed repair, however, I appreciated the joining rooms and it worked out wonderfully for our needs (family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teens). Breakfast was good also!

What a great spot! Traveling with family and this property was not only affordable but also situated by so many attractions, shopping and a transportation hub. Nice and quiet. Outside the door was not only the free trolley but also a million eateries to choose from. Enjoyed it.

Clean and modern hotel in the historic old town district. The staff was friendly and helpful. Close proximity to many dining options and the DC metro and Amtrack stations. Perfect location for a family trip to DC. Highly recommend.

Overall our stay was good. The hotel was in a good location, right along the main street of Old Town. I didn't like that our AC unit was leaking in the room and we did not receive notice that anyone had been in to fix it or a follow up on if it was still working ok. The TV in the main area was set on a questionable show during breakfast, something that should not be on with children around (especially if nearly every other word is bleeped out.) When we requested it be changed, they gave us to remote to change it. Breakfast was as expected, something for everyone which is nice.

Our stay was clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic. There is a free trolly which stops right outside the hotel and is a great way to see Alexandria. There are many restaurants within walking distance and a metro station a few blocks away which will take you to DC or Reagan Airport in a matter of minutes. Housekeeping is still by request due to COVID but when we asked for it our room was tidied up nicely. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. My only note of caution is the parking situation. There is onsite parking for $20/day, accessible with your room key, through a garage on a side street. The garage is TIGHT. Cars were sometimes parked across others, blocking them in. Even going around corners was an adventure in not clipping a wall, as noted by the many skid marks found along the way. If you’re traveling to see DC and Alexandria and don’t plan to venture further I would recommend foregoing a rental car and using the metro. It’s cheap, convenient, and reliable, and we felt safe using it. Ride sharing services are also available to save you on the rental. Overall we had a lovely stay and will be back!

It was good place to stay except for the TV menu. This was the most deceptive TV settings I've ever experienced especially with young kids pressing buttons. I honestly felt that the management purposely set this up to collect extra money. The charges were reversed after I complained but the settings on the TV are inexcusable.

Hotel was very nice. We appreciated the cheaper hotel parking fee, only $15 compared to others who were $30+. I also liked the fact that they offered the complimentary hot breakfast and free wifi. They had cookies for my kids on the counter when we first arrived, which my kids enjoyed, but I never saw any others later during my stay. Very short walk to the Metro and plenty of restaurants down King St.
