This hotel is a classic in SLC. Friendly service, really fun pool for kids, comfy room with a huge TV and a small balcony to take in the beautiful views.

My family has stayed at the Little America ever since I could walk and now I continue to take my family there with my own kids. Always clean, friendly staff, classy environment, and fun pools for the kids. For the price you can't beat Little America for your trip to SLC with the family!

We didn't like the fact that the pool, the hot tub and the cafe were closed. There was only one option for eating and it was $32 for a buffett or eat in the bar and we couldn't because we had a kid with us. Also, they charged us $18 for parking and nothing was mentioned about that, but I sure saw it on my credit card bill.

Overall solid hotel. Staff were all very friendly. Room sizes are great! They were very accommodating about an early check in which was a huge help since I was coming from the East Coast. I appreciated the stores in the main area. Didn’t use the pool but it was busy with families looking like they were enjoying themselves. Close to everything.
It’s a large property and navigating the halls back and forth to my room felt a bit like a maze but I got my steps in.
Cons: As others mentioned, the mattress protector is plastic and you can tell. It did cheapen the experience a little. My room was never serviced which might be fine if I was told that was going to be the case. I would have called the front desk rather than assuming by Day 3 I would have a towel refresh.
I would consider staying again if I’m back in town.

Great getaway spot! We love to stay there with our kids, fun pool and dining options! They were accommodating and allowed us a late check out time.

Check in was easy and everyone was friendly and kind. When we got to our room the heat was on high and the room was over 80 degrees. I immediately turned the whole system off as there is no ac, and propped the door open for cool air. We went swimming for about an hour, and when we returned the heat was still high and the furnace continued to run, it was stuck on as they were having an issue with the boiler. Our entire building was overheating and all they could do was offer a fan after I’d called twice about the heat. None of us could sleep that night and it was a pretty miserable stay unfortunately. I asked if it was possible to remove the window locks to help cool the room down, and was told that they have break-ins so it’s for security. My kids heard this and were pretty scared after that. Overall a disappointing visit to a property we’d hoped to return to.

I've stayed here twice and I have to say this place needs remodeling. The rooms look and smell old. My daughter and I were excited to use the pool and hot tub but the hot tubs were packed with little kids, sometimes unsupervised. The location is so convenient and the food at the Coffee Shop is very good.

The hotel was clean. Check in was a breeze. The parking lot is secured. The rooftop pool on the second floor that has indoor and outdoor options coupled with the hot tub was a nice addition. The room were very clean. For the look of the property and amenities the price we paid was to little. I don't mind a good deal but the rooms could easily go for over $200 per night and be well worth it. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
