Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Park City, an IHG Hotel

The location was perfect for all of our day trips. There was a man sleeping in his van outside the side door of the hotel and was plugged into the hotels power. The door that was suppose to only be opened with a room key did not lock. Giving non guess full access to guest rooms without going past the front desk. I called the front desk and they said that the door couldnt be locked because of problems with the pool (door was not close to pool area) they said they didn't know the man was outside and would take care of it. The next day he was still there and still stealing hotel power. This was a very unsettling event and made me feel unsafe, had I been with just ladies or had children I would have left.

We were there 5 nights. The fire alarm went off multiple times 3 of the 5 nights and once during the day. The staff said it wasn't a fire just a malfunction with the system and the service company just couldnt make it out. I still got the family ready to get out each timr

The big issue I had was the lack of respect by other guests - kids very loudly screaming and running up and down halls - til after 11:30 pm and then before 7 am the next day. So, not really the hotels fault, but it was not a good stay because of this.

This hotel and the staff were amazing. I was traveling as single mom 2 kids. The hotel was clean and safe. The surrounding area was beautiful.

This hotel was perfect for our family. With the pool, breakfast included, and friendly staff we had a great stay. The kids loved the hot chocolate that was available all day as well. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. It is perfect for wanting to be in Park City while on a budget.

We checked in the afternoon of April 9th, 2022; at that time the young man at the reception desk was friendly, informative and accommodating. Later on, about 6 pm /-, we went to the whirlpool. It was ok except it had many patches of hair and some sort of goo - maybe diaper padding (?) floating on the surface; the swimming pool had a light (about 8 inches across) attached to the pool light socket by coated wires. It seemed dangerous - unlike the light farther down the wall that was secured into the wall - not dangling in the pool with numerous children playing around it. We went to inform the desk clerk of these issues. The clerk from earlier was gone, the evening clerk seemed annoyed by our issues and advised us the light was not a hazard and that the whirlpool is cleaned daily. Apparently they need to clean it better and/or more often. We feel the light represented a real potential hazard. Lastly, I was led to believe online that the hotel was only about 10 minutes to Solitude ski area. It was more like 40 minutes. Environmentally weak too - saw no recycle bins and they use plastic cups wrapped in plastic and plastic silverware. Parking was very good and the outside of the hotel is nice - good curbside appeal.
