Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Greater Tomball

The property was very clean and affordable. The location was convenient for our purposes of visiting family in Tomball. The breakfast was quite basic, but adequate.

We were in for family. The location was perfect. The hotel was clean s d friendly staff. I would have liked to have an egg option for breakfast. Otherwise it was good.

Rooms are nice, hard floors with no rugs echo bad. Our room had an adjoining door that may have contributed, but I’m sure our neighbors could hear EVERY detail in our room as we did theirs. Literally every spoken word, fart, snore, etc was like we were in adjoining rooms with the doors wide open. Really sucked as my wife and I live locally and primarily rented the room for privacy after our date night away from the kids. Felt like being on pins and needles to be quiet.

The Indian family running the hotel were so nice and accommodating. They let us eat breakfast past the 9 am and the bagel, fruit, yogurt options were great for us. No protein, but we enjoyed it. The hotel was clean and property close to everything in Tomball. We didn’t have anyone come make the beds or bring towels after our first night, but a lot of hotels are doing this now and we didn’t really mind. The bed was less comfortable than I like, but for 2 nights suitable. We’d go back if we need something affordable in the area.

Lets talk about my stay with my kids. I checked in at 330pm and paid $142.47 via pin. At 730, we needed a rollaway bed for $20. Suddenly I now have a $122.47 held. Basically my food and gas money are not available and I have 3 kids with me and am 5 hours from home to attend a state track meet. After bringing the manager's attention to my problem, I am assured we will be taken care. Had I not had a friend send me money, supper would not have happened. Not to mention my son started having a seizure and that in itself became a concern to get to an er or get emergency meds if necessary. Instead of enjoying a rare moment with my kids, I am on the phone trying to regain the money taken and standing at the front desk trying to hold back the frustration and emotions. The conclusion told to me is it is my CashApp card's fault. Umm ok? After having walked outside to have a meltdown, I return inside to find a single girl who was great btw when I checked in, no problems with her, being told to ask me how I now expect to pay for the rollaway bed? Just wow. I wake up in the am and still the money is not returned. I speak to CashApp who informed me they preauthorized the amount after I had paid but why 4 hours later with the explanation that they have no idea what it is...Check out is at 11 but I asked for a late check out considering the money situation I am trying to recover. No sympathy, no care and obvious agitation is what I experienced. DAYS INN TOMBALL SUCKS

Choose this hotel for a staycation with my spouse and child…. Clean well kept hotel… downfall was indoor pool was freezing! No heater and no way to warm it at all! Had a pretty upset 5yr old but overall good stay!
