Sandman Signature Plano - Frisco Hotel

This place was amazing! Me and my family have had a great stay and the staff and hotel experience was top of the line!

The hotel is in a great location, lots of places around to go eat and shopping. The front desk lady was super nice and welcoming, gave me a very good description of the property and their dinning options on site. Would definitely visit again and recommend it to friends and family. Also, elevator is great for pictures 10/10

I love staying here. The staff are friendly, my kids love the pool, and there is so much to do close by.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I never think hotel beds are comfortable- so it was a pleasant surprise! The Shark Bar was great. Me and my husband get away for a night or two from the house and kids, about 2 times a year, and this will definitely be one of our future “go to” places. Room was very clean, as was the bathroom.

Everything was good, beds were comfy, roomswere clean, customer service was excellent. Except the breakfast buffet, itwas deceiving for the amount of money the charge us. Basic, no varieties to choose from, nothing to really feed an infant or toddler. Danishes were hard and not fresh!

The moved us 2 times we kept getting hot to scolding water the person at the front was confused when moving us to the last room, he said he checked the water in that room and guarantees that it has cold water it did not. He than in turned said maybe i didnt know what i was doing and suggested that if i wanted cold water to use the shower in the pool room from there i could people takking and kids screaming in the hallway from our room. Than when my husband and i were asleep we were awoken by the sound if rushing water we worried that maybe there was a leak in our bathroom we went and see nothing at that point we realized that when our neighbors took a bath or shower we could hear it. Last but least you apparently cant control the temp in your room we couldn't get the air to stay on which lead us to be hot.

Traveling for a family get together. Fantastic location and staff. Not sure if the area is experiencing water issues but the flow was terribly slow during our visit this time. We stay here every time we stay in the Dallas area.

Overall cleanliness and comfort were a 10/10. We stayed 2 nights and on the second day we were there (no housekeeping had been in room) I noticed a breeze coming in. The small window was halfway open! This window was big enough for my toddler to crawl through and had no way of locking! A huge hazard and liability and I’m so thankful I noticed before anything tragic happened being on a higher floor. There was no lock, screen, or anything. The only thing that somewhat eased my anxiety was the window would have been difficult for her to open on her own, but it was open when we got the room!

This place needs an over night/early morning cleaning crew. It was a pretty rowdy crowd on a Saturday night and the place was trashed on Sunday morning. Room was clean and spacious. Would not recommend for families. The pool is just weird, slick tile all around with very little walking room, no step or ledge to sit on, just two old school ladders into the pool, very dangerous for kids. Positives, very convenient to Frisco, Plano, McKinney, many dining/shopping options and very affordable. Hotel is newer but again common areas were filthy, beers cans, food and wet towels strung everywhere.
