Shower did not work. Hot tub did not work. After dad of disappointed kids let staff person know, she stated matter-of-factly, without apology - "it's broken."

Stayed here overnight on our way to see family. It was very clean and new and a fantastic value for what we got. Other nearby hotels were 2-3 times more expensive, and we even got breakfast. My only negative was the road noise, as our room faced Hwy 59, but running the AC/fan helped that.

reserved through hotels.com a month in advance. have reservations that states pay at property. got a call3/4 of the way there. they gave one of the rooms to someone else. had 3 adults and 2 children 9 and 12. we had no where else to stay, everything was booked. had to go to the next town. Be careful when booking at a super 8. this ruined our trip to see my grandson graduate kindergarten.

Switched from the Best Western to this Super 8 because of the indoor pool and hot tub. The whole hotel had a funky smell. When we checked in the front desk woman wasn’t necessarily rude but she wasn’t nice either. The only thing she said was about my ID and credit card and didn’t say anything else to us about breakfast, check out, have a nice stay, nothing. The hallways were filthy and I felt like I was at some rundown motel. We went down to the pool and it was nice but still felt very dirty. The pool was overwhelming with the chlorine but the hot tub felt nice. The beds were comfy but you could still see fingerprints on the walls and curtains which was gross. The shower pressure was awesome but the tub didn’t drain, also gross. We heard adults and children running through the hallways and slamming doors all night long. Probably wouldn’t stay here again if coming back to Nacogdoches.

We stayed in 3 rooms due to roaches. The staff was very unprofessional and rude with no empathy or sympathy. I was moving with 3 children on Thanksgiving day

Elevator reeked of cigarettes and had dirt/mud all over the floor. Got to my room around 8 PM, door was cracked open, first thought - this isn't looking good already. Any time the water in the toilet ran, it sounded like a tea kettle ready to be taken off the stove. The a/c would kick on for about 10 minutes and shut off for about 5 minutes all night long. Blankets were as thin as the sheets so basically there's 3 sheets to cover up with and 2 pillows to use. Here's the best part (at no fault of the Hotel) the neighboring guests show up at 1:00 AM yelling expletives at each other, banging on the door, slamming it several times, whistling (I think for a dog) eventually waking up a baby they had in there with them which lead to crying. They finally fell asleep around 2 AM and then around 3 AM a phone alarm goes off and remains to do so until it timed out around 3:30 AM. About 4 AM the baby wakes up and screams which also, does not wake up the "adults' and it too, times out around 4:30 AM. I was hopeful I would get some rest while away from my own children, being pregnant, exhausted and needing to be energized for the next day's drive to take my dad to the Methodist hospital in Houston for his scans for treatment but obviously that wasn't the case Lastly, don't be fooled by "hot breakfast" unless a make your own waffle station or heat up a burrito in the microwave is what you desire. I should have taken my chances with a motel that had the doors on the outside. Don't stay here!

Clean room convienient location and very helpful staff. They even let me check in early to get ready for a family funeral. The only negative was they put us in room 100 and it shares a wall with the hotel laundry so it was VERY LOUD and you could hear people talking really loud, the machines and banging all day until about 5pm.

If you are wanting a cheaper place to stay, this hotel could be IT for you. If you do not want to hear the clomping of feet going down the hall, or the noise from someone else's room, you may want to rethink. I wasn't sure I'd be able to get my youngest grandchild to sleep for all of the "bleed over" noise. I had my grandchildren with me on this visit. One of which is only 2 yrs old. Somehow, she managed to spill her "unspillable" thermos of Gatorade on the bed. When the hotel was asked to send all new bedding up, they requested we fold the soiled bedding and bring it to them. When this was done, they said "Oh, we don't have another bedspread for you nor do we have the fitted quilting that goes between the plastic and the mattress sheet. Note Also, their blankets are PAPER THIN.
