Overall stay was okay. But we were gone for most of Saturday and didn’t get back to the room till midnight and our room wasn’t serviced at all, it’s just paying $275 for two nights I feel my family and I deserved to come back to a clean room.

Indoor pool was amazing could use little more seating to place belongings while swimming but was good size and kid had a blast. The room was clean and just like advertised no complaints!

Property is old. Shower head was broken. Could hear children crying in other rooms. The Maid services was knocking on the door early in the morning they were told we had check out?

Possibly the age of the building and its need for remodel has the owners disinterest in keeping the rooms and property clean.
Example: around the base of the beds were filthy. Inadvertently, we saw baby toys and crackers on the floor. Good grief! The key cards to our room didn’t work, even after two exchanges. Frustrating. We settled for one key card that worked after three tries. The front desk clerk needs better training pertaining to being attentive and gracious.
The one good thing were the beds. They were comfortable.

Dear Hotel Corporate Office,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the experience my family and I have had at your Laquinta Inn in Mt. Pleasant, Texas during our stay.
Upon our arrival on 10/19 for a funeral that Saturday, it was a bittersweet situation because there was family that were arriving that we hadn't seen in years. However, our enthusiasm quickly turned into frustration. On day 1, we had to have our room keys re-coded three times BEFORE unloading our luggage into the room, and despite these attempts, they still didn't work. This resulted in an unnecessary delay in settling into our room. In an attempt to rectify the situation, the hotel staff switched us to a new room. To our dismay, this room appeared to not have been cleaned properly, which raised serious concerns about the hotel's hygiene standards. Additionally, we discovered that the room phone was not functional, making it challenging to communicate with the hotel staff.
Later in the day, we left the hotel for dinner and visiting with family, and when we returned, not only was only 1 bay of the 2 elevators working, but we encountered the same issue with the room keys. This recurring problem is not only inconvenient but also highly frustrating, especially considering that my wife has rheumatoid arthritis and cannot climb stairs.

Swimming pool is out order/ repairing for one month, but they should have put this information on their website, so that we can make our decision prior booking, but they did not do that. No Wi Fi for last 2 days. It is impossible to stay in a Hotel without Wi Fi. Some Hotel employ was working with her toddler kids and they were running around the Lobby without adults' supervision - very unprofessional attitude/behavior.

Was here for a weekend baseball tournament with little kids and family. Upon arrival I had to wait for at least 10 minutes in an empty lobby for a staff member. I chose this hotel due to it having a swimming pool, however was not informed that this pool had been closed for over a month until we arrived at check in. We were asked if we wanted to cancel however there were no other hotels available due to the tournament according to the app we used to book. The room carpet had sticky spots that my foot got socks stuck to. The bathroom tiles had broken grout lines and they were not secure to the floor which was uncomfortable with bare feet. Had to cover the floor with towels. The refridgerator was warm so had to use a cooler with ice for drinks/snacks.

Checking in was not the best. I was first given room keys to a room that was already taken. Then I was given room keys to a different room that didn’t work. Then I was given another room which I was told was the last room available and was as clean as others due to guests before sneaking in pets. I went up and down 3 times all while holding my baby and juggling other things in my arms. The room had no turn table in the microwave and noticed stain on one of the bed mattresses. The room I stayed in was #218. I didn’t make a fuss about it just due to being so tired and drained and had more pressing issues on my mind since I was there for my cousins funeral.
