Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dallas Mesquite

My wife, two children, and I recently stayed at this property on memorial day weekend. We stayed for four days and three nights. The property was poorly kept, and for the duration of our stay, the room was never cleaned. When I asked the hotel staff why they didn’t clean the room the day prior they said they only clean it every two days, which is understandable but we were there for three and it was never cleaned. To the point that we needed to go ask for more coffee for the room and clean towels. Other areas of the hotel just seemed to lack upkeep: the vent in the bathroom didn’t function, some lighting in the room was out, and utilizing the couch pull out bed the mattress was very old, and the kids as light as they are, could feel the springs. But the worst of all were pillows. They were of incredibly cheap quality. I haven’t slept on a pillow so cheap since I was broke and in high school! My advice if you want a good nights sleep stay somewhere else.

LOTS of construction and loud noises late into the night. Kids running up and down the halls with parents caring less. Good location but construction noises and hotel /parents letting kids run up and down the hallways until 3am was suboptimal.

Good location clean and right next to celebration station for kids

My 11 year old son, my 10 month old baby, and I stayed here for 3 nights. All of the staff were very friendly. The amenities were nice and clean. There is also a fun arcade and activity place right next door.

Stayed with family for 2 nights. The staff were very helpful, and allowed my family to celebrate my father's 80th birthday in the lobby area for an hour during the afternoon with cake and presents. My kids did get loud one night at ~9:30pm for a couple minutes and excitedly ran down the second-floor hallway -- they had not seen their cousins for a couple months. We quickly got them under control, but it woke at least one person up and there were some complaints filed to the staff. The staff immediately came upstairs, but my children were quiet and in the room already. I'm sorry about that to anyone affected.
