La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Marble Falls

Pros: super clean and smelled so fresh and amazing, the housekeeping did a phenomenal job, comfy beds, good breakfast, great pool, great customer service and nice views. Cons: hot tub was indoors and was very small and stinky, balconies were so closed together (no privacy), and walls were very thin. We had a child next door to us who cried all hours of the night our entire 3 day stay.

6/16/24 - The view from the third or fourth floor designated for the suites, or presidential suites is great overlooking the Colorado River. The room was outdated and when you walk in the lobby there are signs noting that they are upgrading coming soon in mid 2024. The grounds are well-kept and garden like. If you stay on the third or fourth floor, there is parking up behind the hotel that connects to the third-floor. The staff was kind and professional. The breakfast was OK. The employee taking care of the breakfast she was very nice. I did not use it, but the fitness center looked good. The pool was clean and nice. There were a few people drinking tall boys so the rules are not enforced around the pool so wouldn’t call pool after 6PM family friendly at all times (we had 2 kids). Unfortunately, the hot tub was under maintenance when we were there. It seems a lot of the hotel was under maintenance as there were numerous signs on the floor. We stayed at parentheses third floor and parentheses and in the lobby. Water pressure was very good and water was hot. Pillows are hard and lumpy but mattress is good. Sheets were clean. There was water stain damage in the corners of our room but again it’s being remodeled. Overall it’s about what you would expect nothing terrible or great just middle of the road. It was great for the one night we stay there.

One of the hosts went out of her way to allow us to play cards in the breakfast area with our family after 10 PM!

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly & accommodating. I have 3 complaints though & two aren't in their control. 1. The disinfectant they use smells like the stuff they spray your carts with at Sam's, it's horrible. We had to turn the fans on high & spray other fragrances to try & knock it out. The next two are directed at inconsiderate travelers. 1. Parents need to train their children. They should never be allowed to run up & down the hallways, jump off the beds or walk like a herd of elephants especially if your are above the 1st floor. 2. When you are loading & unloading your vehicle, pull forward if you are still getting the family together. Vehicle in front of us was doing that for over 10 minutes & we're trying to get my 88yr old mother to the truck. Walkers don't push easily on the patterned concrete. Other than that, it was a really nice hotel. Great price for the property. Wouldn't hesitate at all to go back & I highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the LaQuinta in Marble Falls, TX. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly and always ready to assist. The surrounding area offered a plethora of activities, including hiking trails and an exotic zoo. Additionally, the nearby state parks showcased stunning natural beauty. If you're seeking a peaceful getaway, this town is the perfect destination. The only suggestion I have is to enhance the breakfast options with a wider variety. Overall, my family and I had an incredible time, and we are definitely planning to visit again. LC

The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and very clean with high ceilings. We had a beautiful view of the lake. The staff was friendly and accommodating, there is a small convenience like store on property which is very helpful when you have kids and their breakfast was great!

The kids loved the slide in the pool, nice surprise. The hot breakfast was great, many options to choose from.

We have stayed here several times before and have continued to make plans to go back. However, this time was different. Our rooms were dirty when we arrived, I’m talking dirty mop in the bathroom, crickets- both dead and alive throughout the room, the fridge wasn’t working, and everything was dusty. We told the front desk and they said their cleaning staff was gone, we asked for a vacuum cleaner to get the bugs and didn’t get one. Supposedly a cleaning clary came while we went out to dinner, but when we returned the mop was gone, the bed was made, but all the bugs were still there! We were given a partial refund for the inconvenience. I don’t think that’s quite enough. The hot tub was dangerously hot, definitely too hot to get in even. My kids were looking forward to this the most. I think despite the gorgeous view, we will be looking for a different hotel next time we’re in Marble Falls.
