We enjoyed our stay, the hotel is very clean. The hotel staff are so nice especially to those that are serving in the kitchen. They go above and beyond. On Saturday they had chorizo with papas along with other traditional breakfast items. On Sunday they served carnitas. I was beyond impressed, it was very delicious. Our room was a junior suite and we loved the mini kitchen it offered. We will definitely book again in the future.

I had a great experience at this hotel. A lot of things were nearby in terms of food shopping. The hotel staff there was a young man black/Cherokee who was there every day of day and made each day of my day. Wonderful his customer service and attentiveness was what made the hotel experience worth it. The breakfast was decent and my kids had an awesome time. I just wish the pool was indoor instead of outdoor because it was a little too cool to get in.

The property was amazing. My family and I were very pleased. We are a family of 4 with two children and the double room was perfect. Our four year old was able to sleep next to us while our 11 year old had his own space in the living area. Breakfast was also a plus. They had something for everyone to eat.

We've stayed at this hotel a few times now. It meets our needs as we need a handicapped accessible room with two beds (travel with my 93 year old handicapped mother.) We typically stay several days as we may a bit of an "event" of it whenever we travel to Houston, seeing family, going to cultural things, etc.
Having the two rooms (bedroom and living/dining/kitchen) is nice. The few small issues is that the hotel is a little bit noisy (not too bad) from 1-10, and furniture tends to be low which they often do in handicapped rooms but sometimes you want things taller (like couch) to make it easier to get in and out of. It was also hard to get my mom's wheelchair over the lobby threshold, so always had to bring her in backward.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They were great. Decent breakfast, pretty much the same as everywhere else these days, but maybe with a few more choices/additions.

Nice place for family with little kids. Clean and plenty of room. Kitchen is a plus to cook quick meals. Hot breakfast is also a hit.

When my family and I travel to the Houston/Katy area, we typically stay at the Homewood by Katy Mills. Unfortunately, that propery has started to lose it quality. We took a chance on this Homewood in Memorial City and I'm glad we did. The staff is a lot more professional, the property is cleaner (from the parking lot to the rooms), and it's close enough to downtown Housotn and other attractions to where it's not too long of a drive. Even though the rates are a bit higher, I'd happily pay a little more for the extra care.
Also, a huge thank you to the front desk receptionist Bri (not sure about the spelling). There were a few nights where she was manning the place by herself, running like a headless chicken; but she never had a bad attitude and she made sure all guests were taken care of.
The only criticisms I have are: 1.) Very thin walls. If it's really quiet you can hear other guests, and vice versa. 2.) I wish hotels were not so lenient about guests and drug use. A few people staying there must've showered in weed, because there was always the lingering scent of it in the elevators. Still, we will definitely be coming back for another stay.

The hotel is nice, clean, and near EVERYTHING!!! We really enjoyed our stay. However, what we didn't enjoy was begging for towels the entire time we were there. I think if a reservation says 5 people will be occupying a room, there should be enough bath, face, and dry towels for ALL 5 people! Also if housekeeping is only per request, TELL ME AT CHECK-IN, so I can request it. Also it might be nice to have some staff to frequently check the pool area, my kids didn't get to enjoy the pool. There was music with foul language, drinking, and things happening around that pool that I didn't want my kids to see. When I mentioned it to another guest, she said "It was the same way yesterday, that's why my kids went swimming after breakfast". Speaking of breakfast, it was good, there was a variety.
