La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston East at Sheldon Rd

Used soap in shower, tube of toothpaste and brush on counter, no cord to connect room phone, and toddler toy left in room. Other than that it was good

It was wonderful, the hotel met are needs and wants. I felt safe and I knew my vehicle was safe. My mother and grandchildren loved it. The staff exspecially Emma were all so extremely wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Houston or the surrounding vacinity.

Arrived a little after 2pm to check in. Most hotels will allow guests to check in before your time (in this case 3pm). When I walked in I noticed 2-3 kids running around the lobby. They seemed comfortable there so I assumed they were for the lady with long lashes behind the front desk. I walked up asked to check-in. Well, she made me feel like I was bothering her (when her kids were running around the main lobby area). She was rude and said there would be an additional charge for early check-in for 45 minutes early. turned around and left. She made me regret booking the room.

Clean, up to date, comfortable, spacious bathroom. Indoor pool, breakfast, and bar. Asked the clerk upon checking in to put both our rooms close in distance and she changed our reservation so we can be next door to each other. I like the security of requiring a key car to enter the parking lot or the hotel. I may be missing some things but my family and I had a pleasant stay.

Check in was great and person at counter was awesome except when making out with boyfriend in parking lot. The next morning during breakfast there were a lot of people eating breakfast. I was there with my 3 daughters and only table that could have seated my family was occupied by a single Laquita employee. Very poor customer service.

Upon arrival check in was a wait, I was asked to pay 178.00 deposit even though I frequent this hotel basically monthly and prepaid online. First room had qtips, hair rubber bands, candy paper wrappers in the drawers that were covered with filth as shown in pictures. BLOOD on the top cover of bed, so we moved to another room. Not any better room still filthy and was hit upon entering. I figure it would get any better so we stayed put. Noise and kids running around and down halls stomping making unnecessary noise. Pool was disgusting and even if I wanted to use it I couldn’t because it was taken over by what appeared to be a party! The only good thing about this hotel was the gates that lock after hours, that’s all, it’s really gone down the cleanliness tremendously which is sad because I used to love it here! Breakfast smelled nasty so I didn’t bother going into the area. Do better please or stop trying to charge folks ridiculous amounts in deposits.

I’ve stayed here plenty of times, and haven’t really had many complaints. This past weekend kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. There was a roach waiting to welcome us in our room by the refrigerator! After a thorough inspection I didn’t find anymore, but I did notice that the walls were very dirty. There were also bags of trash on side of the trash can, outside on the back patio areaI hate to see this hotel being run down like this, as me and my family stay here quite often! When leaving the room for the night, we were welcome on the elevator by another roach.

This is a fairly new hotel and most things about it were fabulous: nice decor, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable rooms. When I went to the breakfast buffet at 8:30 they were replenishing the hot foods with fresh servings even though they would close at 9. Overall, I thought it was an exceptionally nice hotel for the price I paid. The only thing that disappointed me was the pool. I specifically chose this hotel because it had an indoor, heated pool. I got into my suit and was surprised that the pool was completely empty, even though the hotel was filled with families. Then I saw why: the water was murky. Even in the 3 foot (0.9 meter) shallow end the water became fairly opaque near the bottom. It truly is a shame that the pool was not kept clean and clear, as it was a decent size and the pool room had lots of chairs for lounging and even a lift to help disabled guests into and out of the pool.

Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I wasn’t too impressed with the pool, however it was good for the kids.

The staff was AMAZING!!! The downfall is the hotel overall is very noisy. The doors slam really loud if you don’t catch them, and there were kids that run up and down the halls thru out the night. We had to call the front desk twice due to our neighbors TV being louder than ours and our AC. Everytime the front desk called the room, they would turn it up louder. I had to request a different room.
