Great hotel! Quick trip with the family

We visit Granbury multiple times a year and this is our favorite place to stay. The staff is super nice and the kids of course love the pool. It is so close to multiple fast food, dine in restaurants and fun places to shop.

The staff was very nice. Some of the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever met. The lady at the front desk told me all about the area and where to go for drinks and etc. and the lady who ran/maintained the complimentary breakfast had to be one of the nicest people I have ever met and not only prepped the food but also took care of all the people who came in to eat breakfast as if she were a 5-star waitress. Felt like I was at home and my mom was making breakfast back when I was a child. Wish I remembered her name. She’s the main reason I’m writing this. lol. She definitely deserves the shoutout. lol.

Very clean, the pool area was clean, the rooms had clean bedding. My only complaint would be having a room on the first floor with all the guests going in and out, kids going to and from pool it was loud. Otherwise this is the place to stay!

I was told the room had just been renovated. I guess the AC/heater unit was not part of that process. We turned it on and it rattled as if it had marbles in it. No way we were going to sleep with that on. No other rooms available and no maintenance person available. What the heck, we attempted to fix it ourselves. Pulled off the front and three large ice chunks fell out of it. Problem solved. You’re welcome, Choice Hotels. Down side, had to repeat the process a couple of times. The hotel was LOUD. Our room was on the first floor. We could hear everything the people in the next room were doing. Including cheering every sports team in existence and their kid singing George Michael’s Freedom over and over. Interesting choice, but no one bothered to teach him anything but that one word of the song. The laundry room was on the other side of us and that was loud too with the housekeeping staff banging on everything and the machines rattling. Came back for an afternoon nap after a night of getting up to fix the heat several times and all we heard was the staff slamming things around and debating if deaf people would be able to know that a fire alarm was going off. Put the deaf people in room 115. They’ll hear it. FREEDOM!

The Cook/Front Desk lady DONNA, went above and beyond for our family that was celebrating a family reunion.

The bed was fabulous! We had the best sleep on a firm but not too firm bed. I had been struggling with some hip pain which disappeared after two nights at Comfort Inn. The staff were friendly and treat every visitor like a personal friend. They were beyond helpful. The hotel is going through renovations which accounted for my 4 rating on the outside BUT this is temporary. The room and care of staff more than make up for the temporary construction vehicles. Our family will be staying here any time we come to Granbury to visit family.

2 night stay for wine walk and visit family. Staff was awesome! Stayed there before and would stay again.

I love the staff they are all amazing and make you feel a part of the family
