I stay here frequently and love the employees. Everyone is so nice and if you want a clean room stay here!
Lots of good restaurants around and the downtown square is adorable. Also great for families w children so many water activities etc.

Staff is nice. Heard screaming kids all through the night. Pool was a little dirty. Bathroom was clean.

The stay was great, breakfast was great, pool was cold, but glad it was inside. There was a lot of kids at the hotel so the pool got crowded. The room was comfortable and roomy. I would stay again.

Staff were friendly & professional. Pool & Hot Tub were both working good. We booked a King Suite, while traveling w/ 3 grandkids and the room was spacious. I'd stay here again.

The visit was good. The front staff was wonderful. She was very supportive of our stay, amenities offered and suggestive of places to go for dinner. It was pet friendly and accommodating. Pool was a bit cold and a little green but the kids loved it. Would stay again!

Hotel was good overall. Although the hot tub needs to be checked. Too many chemicals maybe? My family and I got irritation on our nose and couldnt not stop sneezing. We were not able to last as long as we wanted to in the hot tub.

Overall we had a good experience. The hotel was conveniently located to sights, good value for the price and we really enjoyed the pool and spa area. Breakfast was good with good variety and loved the coffee bar being available all day. On the downside, the light in bathroom was burned out, there was an old corn dog on the floor by the couch ( not ours) and an old exploded coke bottle in our freezer (also not ours) and the mattress on the pull out bed had a tag from 2007 and was ripped up with springs and foam sticking out on the edges—my kids didn’t mind but i thought it was terribly uncomfortable. There were no sheets or blankets for the pull out bed and when we called down we were told we would have to come get them ourselves. There were no ice machines on the floors even though we had ice buckets in the room.

We were pleased to find this well rated and affordable place to stay on our recent trip to Glen Rose. It was a dino adventure for our two dinosaur loving grandkids. They were thrilled with the pool and the breakfast, and I appreciated the friendly, helpful reception representative. Our room was comfortable, and the beds provided a good night's sleep. However, there were several small issues that added up to a bit of frustration. I had to call for help to get the TV set correctly. The toilet lever had to be held down to flush and then raised up to get it to stop. The shower fixture took some figuring out. Our grandson took a cold shower as a result. Our granddaughter wanted a bath, but the plug fixture was too bent to be inserted, so grandma had to talk the 4-year-old into a speed shower. There was also a less than great repair job by the tub that looked a little nasty. Then, at 5:59 a.m. our alarm clock went off! I guess the previous guest (who must have also messed up the TV) had put it on a blue tooth setting, so we literally had to unplug it to get it to shut off. It was 6:03 before the old folks got it resolved! By this time, we were not particularly happy campers.

Absolutely disgusting. We ended up having to turn off our A/C unit on a 109 degree day, due to the mold infestation inside the unit. Pics available. With 2 young kids we ended up needing to leave the property.
