Best Western Plus Texoma Hotel & Suites

If I could it would be a negative 100!! Do not stay here. This place has pretty pictures on their website but a fresh coat of paint and some cleaning of some furniture is not going to hide behind the cracks. It's disgusting! I would go somewhere else but there are 8 of us and need 2 rooms. Denison all the way to Dallas is booked no rooms! Where to begin! Went through Expedia, they sent over info, and someone here put down that we were checking in the day after we were suppose to. They went ahead and got us another room. Next day we were going to be out all day so they were suppose to move our luggage to the new room. Got back and guess what they did not. I want to make clear that I was also being helped by the manager so he knows what is going on. Caught him coming out of elevator and he took me to the old room and helped get my stuff to the new room. You have people coming from everywhere eating all the food. They are constantly running out of food. I also want to make clear myself, husband, daughter, and 3 grand kids are here for a week. My other daughter and granddaughter are her for a few hours. There are a lot of sketchy people around here. The pool is inside and it's like a sauna. No circulation. Someone ripped one of the doors off. And the jacuzzi was filthy. Now let's get to the night (3 days later), my 2 grandkids came to stay and we opened up the sofa bed and I about threw up. Manager never responded to my messages

Polite and helpful staff when my grandson got sick she helped us find medicine in the middle of the night and gave us fresh towels and sheets when he got sick. My only three dislikes 1)beds are too hard 2) blinds behind curtains aren't dark enough or close enough to make the room dark to help you sleep and 3) when you turn the light off by the door you no longer have power to the lights between the beds. Other than that the jacuzzi was so relaxing and the kids loved the pool it was a bit cold though.

The whole point of the stay was for the pool for the kiddos but it was closed for maintenance. I told the hotel that was the point of the stay but it was too late for a refund. The hotel explained to me that the pool has been closed for a while and will be closed for a while due to the fact that they are remodeling. It would of been nice to know this before booking.

The property was clean, the staff very nice, the full, hot breakfast was great and the pool and hot tub were perfect for the kids. The elevator had been hit by lightning recently and was working, but it made an alarm sound every time we used it. It was unsettling. It had easy on and off from the freeway and you are ten minutes from a casino and lake in OK.

My husband & our 2 kids were in town for a softball tourney & this hotel was perfect for us. While my husband had early games I was able to take the kids to the hot tub, we hoped for the pool but it was too cold. The kids loved the pull-out couch in our suite & we enjoyed the king size bed. Both super comfy. While there wasn’t sheets in the room for the pull-out couch, I was able to acquire some from the front desk very quickly after requesting for some. Loved that our suite also had a microwave & a mini fridge which was needed to keep the baby’s milk cold. Check in & check out was super easy & the parking wasn’t too crowded so we were able to park fairly close to the front entrance. Overall a wonderful experience & hope to stay here again next year when we are in town for the same tourney. There’s also plenty of easy accessible fast food places to eat & a Walmart, which came in handy when we needed a few things we forgot back home in Oklahoma. Staff was super friendly & the hotel was very clean. Would definitely recommend to the fellow teammates. Also, we had quite a bit of luggage to carry in & I was very grateful for the luggage carts to help us get all of our luggage up to our room in one trip. We checked in pretty late at night, so it was definitely super helpful. I also loved that check out wasn’t until 11, so it gave me plenty of time to get everyone packed up without having to wake up early & rush around!

Our stay at the Best Western Plus was very nice. We got a great bargain from Expedia, and the room was more than adequate for our needs. Our toddler sleeps in his own travel crib, so there was plenty of room to put the crib.
