Comfort Suites West Dallas - Cockrell Hill

The AC cut off and the front desk was absolutely rude & disgruntle about everything .. it was very uncomfortable.. I only stayed one night and they didn’t even try to accommodate me or my family with a better room! Gave me a bogus number to call for the manager and email .. haven’t heard anything yet .. This place is a joke ..

The place had an odd smell and there were a number roaches. We were too tired to make a complaint as our child was sleeping but we are really unhappy about the experience and would like a refund.

The stay was fairly cheap. The breakfast was okay but they kept running out of food. If you need new towels they will not bring it to your room. You have to bring the used towels to the desk in order to get more. Big inconvenience if you are traveling with small children. Front desk clerk doesn’t not care and will not send towels.

My stay here was as pleasant as the 1st two times, a few years ago! Location is EVERYTHING!!! I was a 5 minute drive from downtown Dallas, about 7 minutes from Lone Star Park or The Wax Museum (Grand Prairie) and about 10 minutes from Six Flags, AT&T Stadium/Rangers Ballpark Stadium (Arlington)! The hotel was quite, clean, and the lady at the front desk was friendly. The room was nice and spacious, with crisp white linens and fluffy white tiles. Not sure about breakfast, because my mouth was set for IHOP, which was across the street. Walmart, Chic-fil-a, Chili’s, and two gas stations are also in walking distance. Great place for family, couples, or solo getaways! I’m definitely going to book again.

Bathroom floor tiles were loose and coming off, temperature control did not work and extra comforters were not provided on request. Internet was very slow that we had to use our cell hotspot for kid iPad. TV did not work. Highway noise and very poor customer service. The only positive is the location but that is not enough to justify the money and the ratings!

First of all the front desk staff when we checked in on said that we did not have any booking confirmation, my husband could visibly see his name on the paper they have on the front desk but she kept insisting it wasn’t there until he showed his confirmation and her only reply was it’s because we used a third party. This hotel is right off the freeway which should have been on the info, not family friendly at all, and cleanliness was not a priority on this property. Parking was also terrible there were trucks everywhere that left little choices for cars to park in. All in all we felt that this area was not safe especially if you have kids with you.

Everything was pretty decent and good room size when traveling with kids. However the ac did not work properly and kept the room just cool enough but felt stuffy. Would have been great if room was cold and comfortable
