Embassy Suites Dallas - Lovefield

Every staff member I encountered was extremely pleasant. The front desk staff provided a quick and informative experience. The hotel is older, so it was no surprise that the air did not cool below 71, especially in Texas heat, but I requested a fan and one was quickly provided. The reception/breakfast staff were also pleasant. It was the excessive pest activity that caused the low stars. Night 1, a large dead roach and flying insect was present; I killed them and moved on. Night 2, a minimum of 5 flying insects! I don’t know where they came from because I was on the 6th floor. They were not there during the day, so it was very strange. Night 3, a baby roach was in the bed; this was about 15 minutes after I requested new blankets. Again, the staff was amazing but the pest were unexpected and unsettling.

Great place to stay with your family. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, great deal for the money. Would definitely stay again!

Checked out Nov 18th. Signed up for the 4:30am shuttle to airport on the 17th. Waited in the reception area early (4:15am) with approximately 12 other people, some with children. At 4:35am hotel staff person came outside and informed us she just found out 15 min ago that the shuttle driver was a no show. No alternate means of transportation was offered. We missed our flight..

We are a big fan of Embassy Suites. Solid breakfast and spacious rooms for family. We booked 2 doubles and were given a king without warning. We only discovered that when we got to the room, and then the front desk said no doubles were available. They should have at least been upfront about their mistake for overselling. Otherwise no issues with our stay and would stay again if needing to fly out of Love Field.

My daughter and grandkids were refused check-in since the reservation was made by me and her name wasn't on it. Th desk clerk was very unhelpful and had no empathy for the situation. I paid for the room and at last minute I couldn't go with them. I could have faxed my ID card and given any of my personal info so they would give my daughter the room. They said we had to go thru Hotels.com but we were unable to get in contact with them after numerous tries. I asked for a different room that my daughter would pay for since all 5 of them were physically there. Alex, day manager, said they were booked. The room for 6 people that I paid for sat vacant. There are exceptions to every rule but management was very unfeeling about the situation. My twin 6 yr old grandsons cried all the way home. They had been so excited to go swimming in the hotel.

It was a great and a great location for where our family lives. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
