Staybridge Suites Austin South Interstate Hwy 35, an IHG Hotel

was a good family stay with buffalo wildwings in front and movies on the side, all on same parking lot, pretty nifty. Staff was cool too, easy going, enjoyable stay, and we don't really care for austin that much but this was good.

Mom and kid trip … the hotel was very clean and safe feeling. This will be my hotel of choice if I return for family trip. Everything was in great condition. If I had any suggestion - maybe additional bfast items, but what was avail wasn’t bad. Just limited.

Check in was easy, the front desk staff was very friendly. The room was clean and very spacious, plenty of refillable toiletries attached to the walls in the bathroom. We had the 2 queen studio. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Could've easily had our son join us and slept on the pull out sofa. Our only complaint was that our bed was very uncomfortable. I'm normally a side sleeper, but had to sleep on my back and literally can feel the spring coils on my back. My husband said the same thing. Our 14yo didn't complain, but she only weighs 110#. I'm 5'7" and 150#. Breakfast was good. Nothing spectacular, but had fresh fruit, yogurt, texas shaped make your own waffels, sausage links & eggs. Good variety of breads. Overall we would stay here again if only the bed was more comfortable.

Its was good but not how we wanted it to be. we took a couple days to chill at the pool y picked this hotel because of the pool and kitchen amenities. Unfortunately the stove didnt work, elevator didnt work, was kicked out of the pool 15 minutes after getting in because someone has got there to clean it and It will take all day…it was 2pm so yea my kids and I were not happy that we have to use the stairs in a paid hotel plus we cant use the pool. Later that night my wife and son was taking a shower and they knock at the door to tell them they were loud and someone complained my wife said ok no problem and apologized after that 3 hours later when my kids are SLEEPING we get a call to the room maybe 10pm-11pm coming from the from desk saying we are been to loud and someone made a complaint…. I told her i am watching a movie in bed and my kids are sleeping so what is being to loud? She kept on calling me sir even tho I nicely corrected her multiple times…idk it was unfortunate and for the price for a non working elevator i think i paid to much.

The hotel was overbooked and didn’t have a room for us . The front desk blamed Expedia that supposedly that morning called to cancel our reservation. After driving 5 hours with small children and before a 10 hour flight that was the least expected thing to happen. Terrible customer service. I will never book a Staybridge hotel again. I totally understand the overbooking but the lack of responsibility is not justified. Expedia never cancels any reservations if the customer never requests them to cancel.

Great stay with children night before an early flight

We found pine needles in our bed, got locked out of our room twice with keycards, pull out bed on couch is a very very small twin, didn’t have enough room for kids to even sleep.

Not a great stay for us. Key cards didn’t work twice, pull out bed for our kids was a tiny little twin mattress not big enough for our 4 and 6 yr old, room smelled like rusty mildew. No bedding in the room for our pull out bed. Lastly, I found small pine needles in the bottom of our bed by my feet. Very disappointed with our stay/

Great stay- movie theatre and dining options are walkable- quick drive to most main attractions. Delicious hot breakfast- great for families- would stay again

Staff was quite courteous. Nice room layout and size. Bed was not comfortable, though. Breakfast was meh. Hotel was close to family. Getting in during Friday evening rush hour was not fun.
