I would never come back here again. The indoor pool is freezing cold and slippery. My son fell while walking so not sure if the floor is not adequate or if they did that on purpose. The room itself was so humid and felt dirty just walking in the room. The sofa had stainings on it so my kids weren’t allowed to sit on it. The tv isn’t even mounted on the wall it’s on a counter and in an odd place. I would never come back here. Felt like a motel. Breakfast was so bad and the line was long for a waffle. No one ever came to clean the room or restock towels. Very very disappointing hotel. I think you can get a better stay somewhere else for the same cost.

I really liked the breakfast options, and the lady running it was very sweet and patient. There was a substantial summer camp visiting during my entire stay and they took up the whole area and then some, multiple mornings in a row. I ended up delaying my own breakfast because there was just no point going down there in the chaos, lol. When I finally went down, the breakfast lady was kind and greeting people, even though she was extremely busy. The like the fitness area - plenty of great options, but there needs to be a sign about kids being supervised because a couple times people just let there kids go in there alone. Also the hand sanitizer in there is constantly empty. My biggest suggestion is to get separate elevators for housekeeping. I had to sometimes wait for more than two elevator cycles to get to and from my room because housekeeping uses the same ones. It's clear this is just as stressful to them, and a couple of them were a little rude. I really feel for them. I think they are trying to do their jobs, and they are having to play the waiting game just as much. Because of this issue, it took about 4 or 5 times longer (multiple trips) to get my things out to my car on check out day.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was superb with various selections to choose from. We were in the sixth floor with an amazing view towards the downtown. We loved it so much we will stay with them again next time we stop into Austin. Definitely recommend. It is close to downtown, food, and a gas station.

This hotel is very nice. I try to stay here whenever I come to Austin for business downtown or for a visit with family. The property is clean, the staff is friendly, and the hotel is nicely located for my purposes. They're just finishing up remodeling so décor is up to date and new. Breakfast is good. I really only have one minor quibble. On the most recent trip we stayed in one of the renovated rooms. I ended up sleeping on the air conditioner side of the king-sized bed. The vents are not adjustable, so the air was blowing directly in my face when I laid down. I got the spare blanket out of the closet and blocked the air outlet closest to my face, and that worked was OK. We like it cold for sleeping, so turning off the unit was out of the question. Maybe adjustable vents could be installed?

For the most part, our stay was fine for what we needed for three nights. When we arrived to the hotel, I inquired about using the laundry room and it was being renovated so I had to go to a hotel beside ours to use their facilities. We spent more than half the day at the other hotel because we didn't want anyone to take our clothes and their laundry room only had one washer and dryer. The next day we went out and when we returned no one had serviced our room. I immediately called the front desk and they brought us new towels and took our trash. We also had a note under our door and in the elevators notifying us the water would be shut off from 11-4. Although it didn't impact our time in the hotel, it would not have been good if I had to stay in the room with two young children without running water or a flushing toilet.

Property was average at best. The restaurant was decent in the evening but the complimentary breakfast is a joke- literally 12 bottles of various juices, (4) apples with plastic wrap, 3-4 bananas, 2 oranges, and 8-10 various prepackaged muffins/pastries (about the size of racquet balls. You can sit and wait for the Uber slow and snarky service of not all that nice a space. The restaurant manager is very.... childish would be the best term. The front desk staff were attentive, responsive, and professional.

Clean, large breakfast area, great staff, mini-market in the lobby with pizza, ice cream, and other snacks for starving kids late at night.
