Wingate by Wyndham Nashville Airport

The hotel was nice and the staff was nice but beware in the morning when we left we saw 10 cars in the parking lot that had their windows broken. A guy we had talked to said this was an on going problem they have been having for a while. He said a bunch of kids were going around at night and breaking into peoples cars.

We were unable to have breakfast. There was a group of kids down when we went to eat, so we waited about 20 minutes and went back there was nothing to eat and no one replacing any food.

I was very disappointed in the breakfast. A significant decline in offerings. Microwave sandwiches? Instant oatmeal? Not the standards that I have grown accustomed to. I was "stranded" due to SW flight cancellations for 4 days. Staff completely ignored me when I asked for any type of assistance with a discount. Not even $1.00. When I requested a late check out due to a medical condition and 6 hours to my flight, I was told "absolutely not!" I only wanted a couple of extra hours. So I had to sit in the lobby while crying due to a kidney stone. Absolutely no compassion or empathy. Not the way it used to be.

Lovely design of the hotel, with nice rooms, a convenient area of the city. Accessible and ample parking lot. Good quality and variety of light breakfast with a very attentive and diligent manager 'Laura'. Although the lady at the front desk tried very hard to be nice but it was obvious everything was from a script. When the questions or the conversation was out of the 'normal' accomplishment of the regular transaction, you could feel she was annoyed with the questions or the comments. I hope life and experience make her more empathetic with customers. One more issue, the shower had a broken shelf. It hanging loose from the screws to the wall. A child or a distractive person could get hurt by it. This needs to be repaired or removed (including the screws) before being offered to a new customer. Although these small details, we had a good time. I hope this comment helps the improvement.

There was hair on our bed and it was not ours . There was hair in her bathroom also everywhere …. Then we realized that the handicap bench they had in the shower was coming off the wall so my husband could not use it at all. They did offer to change our room but by this time my husband was already too upset to move ! We cleaned all the hair up and still found some More on the phone when I grab it to use it . I think they need to clean a little better . Also the front lobby need to be mopped more than just once a day . There was a group of kids staying at the hotel and they were running up and down the halls and it was not too quite .

Very clean hotel, wonderful for extended stays and family. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Good value and great location

The lobby was super crowded when we came in. It was only 1 customer service desk worker. Nobody was 6ft apart. Im use to paying at the end of our stay, we had to pay upfront. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Not good for a mother expecting a child. Hotel smelled like weed. Bathroom was clean but of course I had my own cleaning supplies and lysol as well.
