We had an overall decent stay (2 adults, 2 kids)--relatively comfortable (though the pool was cold), mostly quiet / uneventful, and breakfast was decent (and BBQ next door was great!)--though we came to find out after the fact that we were charged an additional $25/day for parking. I didn't see this in the listing and it wasn't mentioned by the staff upon check-in--they just handed me the little hang-tag and told me to display it. Not the biggest deal, I guess, but upon coming back here to check on the parking situation I noticed other reviews indicating there have been break-in's in the parking lot--this happened the day we left, as well (fortunately ours wasn't broken in to, even though the one next to us was). A bit odd that this is happening consistently and I can understand people's frustration with having to pay for parking with the cars being at risk overnight...maybe time to get some kind of security setup (at least some kind of deterrent). Otherwise, if you're staying here and parking your car, be sure not to leave anything in it!

Imagine booking a room here because you’re visiting family in the hospital and exhausted, only to find out you got charged almost $30 a night to park. When I checked in, the front desk person asked me to swipe my card in case of “incidentals”, which I assumed would be returned if there were no incidentals. Why be sneaky and lie about what the charge was really for?! Or why not include it in the quoted room rate instead of tacking it on later? If you book through Expedia, the parking fee is hidden in the fine print. And I don’t care if it’s standard around the area, when you know a lot of your customers are coming from the hospital you’re located very close to.. Even Vanderbilt doesn’t charge for parking. Ridiculous.

The only issues i had was the bathroom sink was broken and only let out a lil but of water. And the kids next door to us were extremely loud and the parents let them run up and down the hall. No fault of the hotels tho. The beds were amazing, very comfortable. Will be back in two weeks.

Air Conditioning did work in many of the rooms, we found cockroaches, our kids could not swim in the pool because it was lime green color with crap growing in it, elevators didn't work, dirty mattresses, no one ever came to clean our rooms or take out the trash.

Do not stay here ! The white guy who checked us in was picking on his bleeding facial pimples the whole time , then handed us the room keys with blood in it ! The lady next morning looked like her family was murdered the night before but came to work anyway

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past; however, this hotel is in desperate need of upgrading. Carpets are worn. Bathrooms are worn. Elevators are scary. Bathrooms in the lobby are sketchy. Now they are charging for parking when it use to be free. Front desk was less than enthusiastic. No housekeeping unless requested and when I asked for additional toilet paper you would think I asked for their first child.

Arrived into Nashville on very late flight and checked into hotel close to midnight. Got to our room no soap. Went downstairs in person to pick some up. Front desk response sorry we're out. Unbelievable!😳😢 We have stayed at this hotel multiple times a year since 2018 as we have a child who attends Vanderbilt and have just seen a sad and big decline in the hotels services over the years. Free parking- not any more, friendly front desk people- hit and miss, a good breakfast included -laughable now as there were very few items at 8:30 in the am But worst of all no soap!

We had to wait several hours after check in time to receive our room. It was uncomfortable to have to wait in the very loud, crowded lobby with all our luggage and 2 children exhausted from traveling all day while waiting for the room.

This hotel was not up to my standards at all. The room was not very clean. The floors did not look swept, the trash can in the living area had coffee grounds all in the bottom and was wet and sticky. One of our lamps did not work. The beds were not very comfortable and were very squeaky. Just trying to get out of bed I thought I would wake my kids. We tried to get extra tissues because there were about 3 left in our box and after an hour we went and requested again and were given toilet paper because they didn't know where tissues were. One positive note was that they have free popcorn and cookies in the lobby in the evening but with the cleanliness of the hotel I was hesitant to eat the snacks. Overall, this room was okay for one night but would not recommend an extended stay and to stay there you need to lower your standards and overlook many things.
