Hyatt Place Nashville Opryland

Great stay! Area mostly ok, did have trouble 1st night with vandals in the area, thankfully not our car. No other trouble. Hotel and police responded quickly and appropriately. Room clean and spacious, beds a bit too firm, loved the pull out couch for larger family, small kitchenette…wish it also had a microwave. Question how well the mini fridge worked- either half frozen or just cold- no in between. Bathroom/shower area a bit small but functional-GREAT water pressure, showers were so nice, didn’t have time to report but our door handle to bathroom was weird (handle had to lift way up to open door, but completly functional). pool a bit small for hotel size- got quite busy at times. Breakfast was good, great choices, seating area got very busy most mornings. Did not use shuttle service. Staff was superb! Super friendly, personable. Deedee was our favorite, remembered us after the first night and always quick to greet and ask about our day!

Checking in was pleasant. The staff on the following day botched our additional room reservation and gave our connecting room to another family. The hotel ran out of pillows and didn’t provide enough for the number of people in our room (4). Only after I purchased my own from Walmart, did they find more.

This was one of the most pleasant stays at a hotel I've ever had and it was all because of the staff. Especially Kia at the front desk! She was so welcoming, kind and pleasant, I think I would have considered staying even if I discovered a family of rats in my room (which I didn't, it was nice and clean). Breakfast was great and not just the bare minimum to qualify as "hot breakfast". The staff during breakfast was on point too. These people care about this hotel and it's guests. We will be back again next year for the same event and will definitely come back here again.

Very outdated and dirty. Our room had a bunch of ants in it on the last night. Staff was unfriendly and unprofessional. Checked out at 4am to start our long road trip home and had to avoid bringing out kids through the lobby because there were two drunk guys "play fighting" in the lobby. After approximately 5 minutes of the drunken debauchery in the lobby, we were able to track down an employee to help us check out of our room. At that point we came to learn that the drunk males were friends of the front desk employees and hanging out with them while they were "working". We paid for our entire stay at check in but continued to receive daily charges for the cost of our nightly rental fees every day. Tried discussing with customer service but they just kept saying it would all be refunded at checkout. It was over $800 extra dollars that were charged to my bank account, money I would have liked to have used for vacation. I never received a refund until I finally disputed the charges through my bank. Pay the extra money, find a better hotel.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the downtown area for $10/per person was awesome! We didn’t have to worry about parking, or getting separated. And the shuttle drivers were so sweet. The Opry Mills Mall was a close entertainment. Several restaurants in the area with kid-friendly menus. Will definitely stay here again and recommend!

They only clean your room if you request it. NOT friendly or welcoming. Walls are yellow & brown. Old & out of date. Carpets are OLD & very worn. Bathroom door stuck & would not close. View out of room was the DUMPSTER! it was our 30 yr Anniversary...was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Mold in the ice bucket. Worst Hyatt ive EVER stayed at ever! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Way over priced!! Bathroom light has to "warm up" to turn on. Had to wait to use waffle maker with a HUGE line. Little kids fooling around with it all very MESSY & unacceptable!! We had a terrible time.

We went on a family vaca with other family members all were there for 5 to 6 days and our rooms were not cleaned. Unsure why that was, I do want to say the staff that is there is very nice polite and will do anything for you.

We stayed here for the convention going on. The hotel was amazing and fit our entire family. Breakfast was great and the friendliness of the staff was super. Will be staying again.

It was a nice one night stay for our family at a great rate and great location! The bathroom although separated from sink and mirror, which was great, was small and a tight fit for you and kids, who need help, beds slept fine and room was spacious and clean…breakfast was great with a good selection, but definitely need more than one waffle maker, staff had a little delay in keeping supply stocked well as far as drinks, breads, condiments, trash emptied…etc, but the cook, he was throwing out the hot stuff and also would suggest disposable supplies instead of breakables.

The staff is always so friendly and the hotel is clean. Great location, close to restaurants, attractions and shopping. My family loves staying here.
