Aside from an extremely rude front desk person at check in and check out, the hotel was great.
Not recommended as a family hotel as the pool is a crowded night club day and night and mostly younger crowd.
Great location on music row. Great layout of the hotel for adult groups though.
Most of the staff was stellar to deal with and I’d reco the hotel!

The outdoor areas are wonderful, rooms excellent, restaurants and other spaces fantastic. Really cool, fun vibe. Walkable to the Gulch and other sites. 5 min uber to Broadway or a 30 minute walk. One complaint is the pool. Do not book here if you want to spend time relaxing by the pool. It is very crowded and there are only about 8 lounge chairs available at no cost. Day beds and tables have a minimum spend of at least $200. Could not get a lounge chair for first 2 days of stay. Had to wake up early and get there by 8 am to have a spot. Pool is very “adult” - not very suitable for kids but if you are looking for a party atmosphere and are willing to spend $$ then this is your place.

We booked this trip to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary.
Pros- It was a great choice for the location, it was close enough and far enough to the party side of Broadway that you can get some quiet time. The interior design of the rooms are very nice, rock and roll style with a hint of rustic. Elevators were quick. Close to Vanderbilt and Centennial Park.
Cons- I don't know if they're just short staffed or they try to flex as much as they can with like a 3-4 man team. I kid you not I only saw maybe 2-3 employees the whole stay. 1 at the reception desk for the whole hotel, and 1 for valet, I saw 1 cleaning lady in the morning one day, and the other day late in the afternoon. Wasn't much consistency.
What really frustrated me the most-
Valet is $55 a night and they have one guy for the whole hotel. Be prepared to wait a while for your vehicle to get taken and be brought to you. Also I had put a ticket for extra pillows around 2pm and didn't see them until 9 pm when I had to call again for it.

Loved this property. It was our first time in Nashville. The room is best described as quirky. Definitely from a European mind such as Branson. Bright red doors and interior touches. Room was exceptionally clean and functional. Nice large shower and separate toilet room. High tech tv where you can get anything you need through the tv menu. It was awesome.
I can’t really single out any particular staff member as they are all excellent. The hotel is right at the beginning of music row-recording and writing sections. Only about a mile from downtown chaos. Perfect for a quiet night sleep on the comfy bed. We took Uber whenever we went out. If flying in, do not rent a car as valet is rather pricey and driving downtown isn’t feasible. We spent a surprising nice evening at the hotel at the wonderful indoor/outdoor bar on the lobby level with a terrific restaurant. Also rooftop pool and dining was really nice with a lovely city view at night. And don’t forget the Funny Library coffee shop for your morning fix. Fun books to read and games to play.
Almost forgot, very pet friendly property. We met so many well behaved fur babies.
We enjoyed downtown food and fabulous live music and museums, but it was nice to come home to the Virgin and it’s welcoming staff. Thanks to all.

Wonderful property. Very unique, with a hipster vibe. Travelled with kids and my baby dog and everyone had a great time. We will be back!

This hotel caters to young crowd. Only. If you want some pool time, think again. Every chair, every lounger, every cabana, will not be in use, but labeled “taken”. All day long. The pictures are very deceiving of the pool. It’s very very small. If you want a table in the pool bar, once again, most all will be labeled “taken”. The rooms are very very small as well. You open the entry door into your bathroom with a toilet in a very small, cramped separate room where the door cannot be shut without stepping over the toilet to push the door shut. Then get out the same way. The separate shower isn’t great either. It’s quite large with an overhead shower and a hand held shower mounted about 3’ high for kids? Our handheld had no pressure so it was worthless. The overhead had plenty of pressure, but if you don’t want your hair wet, good luck. Light in v is on on smart and motion switches that are really quite dumb. Lights just come on as you walk in the front area disturbing anyone who’s still in bed sleeping. All in all, not a good stay. What’s more, we tried to checkout after a day and move to a different hotel, and apparently they say they will now not honor the check out and charge for three additional nights. This hotel and its policies were not a place if ever recommend. Avoid if you don’t know how to navigate the “taken and reserved” pay policies they enforce.

I think the front desk staff and manager are not the nicest or most efficient people in the service industry. I had an issue at check in and they were snarky and passive-aggressive for reasons that I really don’t understand. The receptionist saw my family waiting and made eye contact but continued petting another guests dog rather than help us and this wasn’t lost on us. Maybe just a bunch of angry millennials schooling my entitled-gen x a$$? At any rate, not impressed and would not recommend the experience.

This is my first time staying at a virgin hotel property. As well traveled business professional and family man, I can say that this is an ideal spot. Centrally located to downtown Nashville within walking distance to Broadway as well as some cool small business local shopping located surrounding the establishment. One of the neatest things is that it is right on the cusp of music row, meaning all of the country music labels are located on the same street or nearby. Just think Reba could be a few blocks away at any moment! Definitely will return as a Nashville native. I just used this as a quaint little getaway for me and the family and it served its purpose fabulously highly recommended
