Comfort Inn & Suites

Rashonda was amazing at checkin. We came here to have use of indoor pool after driving 7 hours with our newly adopted (yesterday) 2 year old. Pool was closed as they said they are having issues w/ heater. Was going to be our little ones first time. We had everything for her and we were so disappointed as we did not get to relax in the pool. I wish that I had remembered that we stayed in this kind of hotel the previous 2 nights and we HATED the beds, so extremely uncomfortable!!! There is food in the microwave, under burners, floor had trash and food on it. Bugs around edges in dining area, bug in bath tub, open holes behind fridge, unfinished edges by dishwasher, burners have food under them, food in microwave, turned on tv then remote quit. Had to wait over an hour to get batteries in it after 2 other remotes failed to work. So disappointing. I will be writing off Comfort Suites for life and will definitely warn all my travel friends.

The staff was pleasantly nice and the hotel was clean. The property was conveniently located near quick grab places such as restaurants, gas stations, and the Dollar General. I want to give a special shout out to Mrs. Shirley. She did her thang with breakfast, especially with the sausage biscuits and gravy. My family was truly grateful for a good breakfast that didn't taste like school breakfast lol.

My stay here was the awful, when I checked in, I was treated kindly but when asked to apply my discounted rates for VA and senior citizen, the young man did not know what to do. So, he stated to wait until we check out to have it applied then. There was no hot water and mind you I had an infant with us. The food was terrible, there were flying coach roach in the pull-out bed, the worst! When time to check out, the message for my discount was not passed on to the next person, so she is looking at me like I was lying and didn't want to apply it and didn't look she applied anything to my account because nothing was really taken off. Overall, I would not be coming back to this establishment.

We were in Oangeburg to deal with family estate. It was great to have a clean comfortable room to come back to at the end of the day.
