Hampton Inn Charleston - Daniel Island

Room was not clean. Asked for a baby crib and was brought a pack and play covered in another child’s old spit up. My husband also cut his foot on a piece of glass that was in the carpet. Nothing was done for any of the issues.

Disappointed. I thought being that I booked a Hampton and it was in Daniel Island we were good. I was shocked at how dated and run down it was. The check in employee was nice. The lobby was fine. However, we had to park at the neighbor hotel and walk to get to the hotel. There wasn't any parking spots available. Upon entering the room it was stuffy. The furniture was beat up and the couch was faded and discolored. I always had comfortable beds at Hampton Inn. The bed was awful. The mattress had no support and it was not comfortable. The pillows were sad. The one time I traveled without my pillow. I am glad we were only staying one night. I tried calling the front desk several times the next morning and not once did anyone pick up. The breakfast was sparse. The staff wasn't refilling it. However her kids were there and they were all socializing and enjoying themselves. I had some dry sausage and a waffle. There wasn't even any bananas. Sadly, I would not recommend. For what we paid for one night was insanely overpriced.

When we checked in there was a child running in and out from the front desk. Our bathroom had a big rust stain. We requested room service for our 3 night stay that we never received. Property outside is nice and located in a nice area.

We arrived early and was able to check in before 4 and we were very pleased . Front desk person was very welcoming . The negative of the entire weekend was returning to the room Friday night after a family event to a constant barking dog in the next room . The staff was accommodating and gave us a room on another wing . However , we had to pack Up , move and unpack at a late hour . The over all stay was good .

Loved this facility. Beautiful and, by far, the best Hampton Inn I've ever been in. The breakfast was exceptional for a non-restaurant set up. The only negative thing I can say is that the bathtub was quite slick and needed some non-skid pads on the bottom. Other than that, PERFECT!
