Love the uniqueness of this hotel. The rooms are unusual but functional. Town is walkable with restaurant options nearby.
Only complaint was crying baby next door. Not the hotel's fault but a little more soundproofing for that would be nice.

BEWARE THERE IS NO STAFF AT THE HOTEL!!! No front desk or check in. Just tapped paper to walls with directions how to access your room.
I didn’t notice that mentioned in the hotel description.
I tried to cancel the minute we stepped in the abandoned looking building.
The pictures of the property are definitely embellished.
One upside is the room seemed clean.
Beds, pillows blankets were terrible. The gym is awful. There is a bench press with no weights.
I absolutely felt unsafe staying here with my kids. We were here to tour Lycoming College.
I would not recommend this hotel or come back.

This is the most interesting hotel concept! The place is modern yet retains the old architecture of the original city hall. Our room was beautiful. The queen bed was cozy. The coffee in our room was delicious. The best thing of all was that we got there 1 hour before check-in and just wanted to change clothes before going to a family event. They were so accommodating and allowed us into our room even thought they didn't have to. We will definitely stay here again when going to Williamsport. Our family members who booked at the Hampton Inn ended up with a nightmare because they had to be moved to the Holiday Inn due to flooding. So glad we chose the City Hall Grand Hotel. The location downtown is also excellent. Lots of places for food and nightlife within walking distance.

The hotel had strange bathrooms. There were very few sockets in the room. Lighting was strange. The tv channels else were impossible to navigate. My kids had the second room and said the hotel felt like a haunted house. The amenities were meager as there was no staff on site. Overall not a place we would revisit.

I find it bizarre that no one greets you when you check-in. Everything is done remotely. It's a contactless facility, which I think is extremely bad. My hotel door was on the first floor. There was a lot of noise and talking, so we couldn't sleep all night. My family is pretty easygoing, but your hotel was terrible, so my daughter couldn't stay the night. It was too loud and noisy, and she preferred to go to her dorm.

We had a rough night, showerhead was broken and spraying all over and then the (glass) soap dispenser flew off of the wall, getting soap all over the room. We found a mop, we cleaned it up, we were told our stay would be discounted and then ghosted by the hotel's text service. No one could help with room requests at alll, and they made me feel bad for asking for an extra pillow. The hotel is like a maze and the lights were off so we had to go through past the bar with our kids into a dark hallway and try to find our room. Also, the room smelled like a urinal when we got in.

The architecture is beautiful!
The overall concept of giving life back to that grand building is wonderful.
The design splitting the building up for separate rooms is stunning.
But the finishes within our room didn’t seem practical. The sink in the bathroom looked like a large dinner plate. While it was a cool concept, not practical for a family to use to brush their teeth. The slipper tub was another great amenity but it didn’t function well. It was in the room = no privacy, the jets were uncomfortable to sit on and no where to put the soap or razor.
But again, great idea snd beautiful building!
Even the folded towel animals from housekeeping on the beds was a very nice touch.

Really unique and nice hotel. Super easy “check-in” process. There’s no “front desk” but the hotel team was super responsive to texts. Room had everything we needed and was spacious for our family of 5.
