We were celebrating my 70th birthday and out of town children also stayed in 2 additional rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only deficiency was the maid service which was only 1 day of our 6 day stay

When we first walked in the lobby was fairly busy with incoming travelers. There was one person working the front desk, but he tried to keep his spirits and everyone else’s spirits up while we waited. The first negative thing that I noticed was after a long trip, I really wanted coffee, and there was no coffee to be found when we arrived, even though it stated on the website coffee is available 24 hours. The second thing was I requested a high floor and far from the elevator, due to noise from people coming and going. When we were assigned our room, it was on the fourth floor , and across from the elevator. The hotel had 10 floors all together, and only one working elevator to accommodate all of the guest, which seemed to be a full house. My next complaint was the shower, had five baby roaches, crawling around inside of it. Which forced us to put our luggage and shoes inside of the refrigerator and freezer so the roaches could not get to our luggage and travel back to our home. The chairs in our room looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. They had stains all on the arms and in the seat and smelled. As a Hilton Honors member, when I checked in the concierge stated they did not have a gift for me, but asked me to return a little later and they would have the traditional Hilton honor member gift bag for me. Approximately two hours later, I returned no gift bag, and their snack bar was completely bare.

I’m not able to tell you about our stay because we didn’t even get that far. I booked the nicest room that was available for my family because we were coming to see a Phillies game. Check in is at 4pm. We arrived at 4pm. At check in we were told that our room wasn’t ready but should be in a few mins and someone would call us. There were others waiting in the lobby for rooms also. We went to check out the pool with the kids. Came back down to the lobby at 4:30. My 17 month old was starting to loose it. I went up to the desk again. To ask when they thought the room would be ready. The girl at the desk said she texted the cleaners but hasn’t heard back. I asked what was going to be done to compensate for the late check in. She said she would have to ask the Manager. The Mangers shows up a few mins later and said the hotel was fully booked yesterday and guest checked out late, that’s why rooms were not ready. He also said there was only a few of our room type in the hotel. I asked when the room would be ready and they still wouldn’t say. He said soon and he was going to go and check it out. Buy this point it’s 4:45 and they still didn’t know when the room would be ready. There was several other guests who didn’t have rooms yet either. The Manager didn’t apologize or offer anything for the hassle. I asked to cancel our stay and return my money. We choose to drive home instead. The experience was so unprofessional. They were just bsing me and making excuses for a poorly run hotel.

Right off the bat we had an issue checking in. The address is the same address as the attached Hilton. Once we tried to check in it was early which we understand, we couldn't check in yet,no problem. Well check-in was supposed to be at 4 and there were no rooms available. We waited for a bit and finally rooms were available but we were told there weren't pillow cases because a washing machine or dryer broke. No problem. Night time came and still no pillowcases or sheets for the pullout sofa. My wife had to go to the front desk to get them. This is when the cherry on top happened. As I relaxed on the couch getting ready for my 65 mile charity bike ride in the morning a mouse ran across the suite. I jumped and didn't know what to do. At this point in the night we needed to get to sleep asap and the front desk also had complained earlier at check-in that the hotel was overbooked. So I kept my mouth shut and didn't tell my family till after we checked out.

My stay was good nothing Bad to say. Except the pool area was not great. There was a lot of kids in the pool with no adult with them. And they trash to pool area. This was my 2nd day there. Other then that it was a nice weekend.

The room was great, although you could use a "pillow top" or something cushier on the bed; it was a bit hard for our bad backs. Shower was beautiful, but not safe: "bumps" on the shower floor are slippery when wet. Better non-skid strips. And more bars inside! you could mount one horizontal bar on inside of sliding door, and one (horizontal) on wall between the vertical handle and the temperature control on the "back" wall (the wall you face when you enter the shower) of the shower stall. Everything else in the hotel, as well as the staff was lovely. Thank you for a beautiful time.

I wished I could’ve stayed longer. The room was clean, the staff was polite and it was pretty quiet at night. I would recommend this to family or folk travelers. When I return, I’ll be staying here!
