Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Scranton, an IHG Hotel

Check in was great, friendly front desk staff. Hotel feels on the smaller side in the lobby and on the main floor hallways, but it’s very clean. Room and bathroom were clean which is my main concern since we just need a clean place to sleep while visiting family in the area. Bed and pillows were so soft and comfy! Location is great as well, plenty of shopping and food choices. Safe location as well with enough parking.

Hotel was very clean. The room was larger than expected. The kids used the pool which was nice. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! Well worth it and would definitely stay again.

The stay was great, except for finding food under the tv stand. The pool was refreshing and the kids loved watching their pancakes being made! Overall…. A SOLID 8.5!

This property is in need of a renovation bad!. The shower and tub in the king suite room had rust and mold around it!. We had been locked out of our room 4 different times needing to get our key card reactivated!. The hot tub was filthy and not filled to completely work correctly!. The rooms were not insulated well at all you could hear kids running the halls all night and screaming and the other clients have full on conversations through the walls!. The bed was also so noisy and we had a beautiful window w a beautiful view but in the morning it was impossible to see out of it due to not being insulated must be!. To be honest we were disappointed with our stay at this property we are frequent travelers, we frequently stay at hotels of this name this was not the best but passing by and in need of place for a night it will do, NOT a place to stay for a vacation tho that’s for sure!. Granted the only GOOD thing I can say about this property is that the staff is super friendly and inviting!.

The location is very convenient. Many restaurants and shopping nearby. The room was nice, and large enough for a family of 5 with the pull out couch. Nice indoor pool also. Will stay here again.

We LOVED our stay at this hotel! Very kid friendly & decorated lovely for the Halloween Holiday! Enjoyed the pool & hot tub; both were well heated & hot tub very hot! (2nd day there was something up with the pool/hot tub heater...but, they were working to efficiently to address the issue). Breakfast was great, but wished there were chocolate chips & sprinkles out for the pancakes. Overall Super & would stay again!
