Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in North East (Erie), an IHG Hotel

Hotel was easy to get to off the interstate. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The front desk called the room not long after checkin to make sure everything was okay . There was a nice family restaurant right across the parking lot. Breakfast had about anything you wanted….pancakes, warm cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage(regular and turkey), biscuits and gravy, cereals, yogurt, and assortment of breads and drinks!

We didn’t know when we booked it that it had an indoor water park-type pool. That meant lots of noisy children running up and down the halls at all hours

Stayed with grandkids who totally loved the water park area! I was impressed with how the staff kept up on keeping towels stocked for the participants. The breakfast was incredible! Room was very clean and comfortable! We will definitely stay again when on the same route of travel

Pretty nice place. The hot tub wasn’t hot enough but if you’re on a family trip, the water slide is a hit. My one and only complaint actually was in regards to the buffet. The food actually was quite good and contained more options than one usually finds in these types of hotels. But while we had those multi-use toiletries in our room, the dishes in the dining room were all single use and the styrofoam. Since this is a company doing business for example in CA, I would expect they can at least have paper products or even recyclable/compostable dishes for their breakfast buffet.

The front desk was amazing at check in! It was very busy with the pool area right in front of the check in desk. The room and bathroom was clean and the beds were comfy. My only 2 complaints was that staff didn't enforce the rules of the pools, hot tub, or sauna. Probably the reason the hot tub didn't work and was just luke warm water, none of the jets would come on and the sauna was on its last leg. Couldn't really try to enjoy the sauna between it barely working and kids consistantly opening the door. Staff would just watch and walk past, and even when others told the staff about children cannonballing unto the nonworking hot tub they did nothing. :(

This is a great family hotel with two pools, ome "normal" hotel pool and one larger one with a slide that kids love. Hotel staff is very friendly, we love staying there!

it was a great stay had there not been babies and small kids with parents & some without in the hot tub & sauna room. the lazy river & kid area water was Ice cold so no one wanted to go into those areas. the pool was packed cause of how many families with kids where there. also they don't give enough towels & washclothes in the bathroom for showers . also they had all full size bottles of dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lotion but it didn't feel like dove to me & my dtr who use dove daily. it felt more like dial

The genius in placing a hot tub next to an entire splash pad set up for children is next level. Everything was wonderful; and I am very picky as to where we stay. The reviews on this place speak for itself. It’s AMAZING! Chose to stay here a little ways away from our Splash Lagoon trip as a last minute change in our hotel itinerary and am SO glad we did!!!

Very nice pool which the kids enjoyed. Also close to North East and Erie which offered a ton to do.

Excellent staff made sure that we had everything we needed, including following up with a phone call to make sure that everything in the room was fine. Although we didn't use it, they had a big pool with a water slide that would be great for families with kids.
