Wingate by Wyndham Erie

The hotel is nice and clean. The beds are comfy with good pillows. The bathrooms are clean with Dove soap, shampoo and conditioner. The lady working the counter this afternoon/evening was so rude tho. I thought I had seen some milk in their little store and I wanted cereal that I carry with me for supper so I went down to BUY some and I gor confused and went to the breakfast place first and then went over to the store and she saw that and thought I was trying to get the milk from the breakfast fridge that is locked -now I never teied to open it or even touched this fridge I just walked by it- and said oh I am in the wrong spot...and went over to the desk and looked and the little store where they have iced coffed, juice, and every other drink you could want. All I said, TO MYSELF, was aw man no milk, and she VERY rudely said no we don't have any milk. The milk is ONLY. FOR. BREAKFAST! And I know I am a really young looking 42 but she straight talked to me like a child. And there were some kids there wanting to use the pool and they weren't guests so I guess her shackles were raised from dealing with them but thats so not my fault.

The pillows are much too fat and hurt your neck. Also, a group of kids and parents were staying there and had been in the pool until closing. I have never been in any hotel that allowed yelling in the hallways after the pool had closed at ten. They banged doors, yelled down the halls at each other until well after midnight and then up again at 7 doing the same thing. So rude and no one from the hotel asked them to quiet down. We had been there for a funeral and were exhausted.

Room Were very nice and Clean and the breakfast bar was excellent would most definitely. Recommend to friends and family.

Good Hotel, Staff was helpful. Room was large and plenty of room for the family.

Unkempt and overgrown grounds. $50 extra deposit taken at check-in (“in case something happens to the room”). Crackers and other food residues under armchair cushion and bed. Lousy pillows. One single tissue left in box. Noisy children playing in hallway. Fridge not cooling. Bulb flashing towards death in bathroom.

Overall great weekend family stay! Everyone was very welcoming and the whole hotel was very clean! We loved the pool and breakfast was great also!

The photo of the room I clicked on to book had two queen beds, not a single king / handicapped access. After trying since 8:30 pm to check into a hotel (one, disgusting, the 2nd, completely booked) I would really have liked a regular shower, not something I had to engineer for safety with every towel in the room. I thought it was peak smart*ss of the kid at the desk (who conducted the whole transaction with a coffee stirrer in his mouth as if it were a toothpick- eeeuw.) I can hear the tv and the people in the other room. Carpets are clean and there is no hotel smell, so there's that.

They put a $50 hold on my room in case I destroyed something. Did not clean room. Other guests were loitering in the seating areas at the entrance all hours of the day. Strong smell of marijuana throughout facility. Not family friendly at all. I want my $50 back. Desk clerk would not print up a paid bill. The shower head didnt work. Worst hotel.

Very good location for all things Erie. Hotel seemed well kept and everything went well. The pool was great for the kids and the hotel was quiet even though there were dozens of soccer players and a lot of kids. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, pancakes, and all the normal hotel breajfast foods (cereal, yogurt, etc)

Enjoyed the location of the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. Lounge area was a nice place to socialize with family and friends and the front desk attendant was very nice and accomadating.
